The Lomax cover would be perfect for my 2015 Sierra 1500 Crew Cab SLT with a 5’8” box. It would add more security when my tailgate is locked. The flush cover will replace my Access roll up cover that was installed by my dealer when the truck was purchased new three years ago. There is nothing wrong with my roll up cover, there are no tears in the cover and it fits tight like new, I would just like to have the added security of a flush hard cover. My my truck is my daily driver, I am retired and like to travel and the added security would mean a lot to me when traveling.

I used left over18” LED tubes from my under cabinet lights, wired the directly to battery using a mercury switch that I used 3M double sided tape and shimmed the switch to the underside of my hood. riI had my 2015 Sierra Crew Cab with 6.2L/8 Spd Trans, 4 WD, with 30,000 miles. Told them about the shutter at all different Spds on the highway. When the service manager came to tell me my truck was ready, he also told me he ordered a new torque converter and would call when it was in. They replaced it last Wednesday and it is like driving a new truck. There is a PIP5887 Bulletin from GM on bad Torque Converters . I would contact the dealer with this info.

I HAVE A 2015 GMC SLT CREW CAB, 4X4 WITH 6.2L, 8 SPD. I HAD THE SAME VIBRATION IN MY TRUCK. I HAVE 30,000 MILES ON IT, AND HAD THE VIBRATION ON AND OFF FOR THE LAST SIX MONTHS. LAST WEEK I HAD IT SERVICED AT THE DEALER WHERE I BOUGHT IT AND MENTIONED IT TO THE SERVICE MANAGER. THEY HAD ONE LIKE MINE THE MONTH BEFORE AND WHEN THEY FINISHED MY SERVICE THE MANAGER CAME OUT AND TOLD ME MY TRUCK WAS READY AND THAT HE ORDERED THE TORQUE CONVERTER AND OTHER MISC PARTS AND WOULD CALL WHEN IN. I TOOK IT IN TUESDATY 2/21/17 AND THEY CALLED THIS AFTERNOON, TRUCK WAS READY. I PICKED IT UP AND WHERE I WAS ALWAYS HAVING THE VIBRATION, IT WAS GONE. IT IS DRIVING LIKE IT DID WHEN IT WAS NEW, NO VIBRATION. ON MY REPAIR ORDER IT HAD BAD TORQUE CONVERTER BULLETIN #PIP5337. HOPE THIS HELPS I HAVE DELT WITH THIS DEALER FOR THE LAST TEN YEARS AND THEY HAVE NEVER GIVEN ME THE RUN AROUND.
