  1. Ya I've checked craigslist and ebay, havent hit the local junkyards yet. As soon as it happened I called NFAB becuase I live 10 minutes from their headquarters but they wouldnt budge on selling me just one lol. Guess Ill be spending my next couple weekends jumping around junkyards, yay...
  2. Long story short I bent the shit out of one of the steps on my NFab Nerf bars (driver side) and I really dont want to have to spend the money on replacing both sides when I only need to replace one. Does anyone have any idea on where I can buy just one or am I screwed into purchasing both?
  3. So a little back story, I bought my truck brand new last January(2018 Silverado 1500 midnight) and have done some minor upgrades like a bilstein level, a super 10 series flowmaster exhaust dumped before the rear axle, and a S&B CAI. Last night backing into my garage my check engine light came on so I took it in and it’s throwing a P2099 code, which is basically a power train control module malfunction code. The code reads as follows: Post catalyst fuel trim system too rich bank 2. These jackaloons at the dealership said that because of all my aftermarket items it won’t allow them to diagnose it properly and is considered out of warranty.... am I losing my mind or are these clowns full of shit?! 4. Your satellite radio runs off of a completely different antenna, so if you use satellite radio get any antenna you want because it’s not going to be affected. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  5. Depending on how close to the city you are you can get away with most stubby antennas. I live about 30-45 min outside the city and have the ronnin 4” stubby and I didn’t really lose any reception for FM. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  6. Check out gorecon or spyder. I know on gorecons website it says for 16-17 but before I ordered mine they said they will work for a 2018 they just haven’t updated the website. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  7. Got my recons installed over the weekend!! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  8. Got my lights in and installed them! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  9. Hello All, I got my truck back in January and have done some tinkering here and there but havent been able to throw up any pictures until this last week so I thought Id add to this thread to show off what Ive done so far. Threw on some N-Fab side steps 5% tint in rear, 20% on front two windows, and 5% eyebrow tailgate badge removal the bilstein 5100 suspension swap which leveled it out within 1/2" and allowed me to mount my 33" nitto ridge grapplers. Installed a flowmaster super 10 series and had it dumped right before the rear axle. Ronin Factory stubby antenna Frame Hole Plugs Bed rail plugs WeatherTech Floor Mats S&B Cold air Intake I ordered my gorecon blacked out LED tail lights for trucks that have factory LED's and they should be in by today!! Also have my 3M vinyl to black out the red on the Z71 badges just havent gotten to it yet. I still need to order the Bakflip folding bed cover. Also want to do a full grille swap and install the TREX x series. Also need to get the black powder coated SDHQ skid plate to do the full airdam removal(removed lower portion already).
  10. I ordered them Monday and they are supposed to be in tomorrow so as soon as I install them I’ll let you know. But ya you can use the halogen lights from your factory tail lights. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  11. I found the recon ones on eBay for $400 between the taillights, led back up lights, and the 3rd brake light I saved $230. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  12. completely understand that! so im assuming you had the factory leds so with the recons was it still a plug and play to get the new lights installed or did you have to do any wiring at all?
  13. The spyders and the recons look almost identical from the pictures, why did you take the spyders off? I love the red accents on your truck btw! I seriously considered doing the same thing but decided to debadge the rear and black out everything else... kind of having regrets lol
  14. I was able to find them on eBay for $400. Ya they are definitely a little pricey but they are pretty much the only ones out there. I know spyder is in the process of releasing some but their website doesn’t even have pictures of them yet so who knows how long that will take. Also the way I see it is after I install the new lights I can sell the factory LED’s for atleast $300. Factory LED’s retail brand new at $500. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
