  1. I've got a 2015 Sierra with same problems. Flipping channels, jumping icons, putting calls on mute or hold. Mentioned it to my dealer who said, "Gee I've never heard of this." Immediately realized I was on my own, LOL. Tried everything. Disconnecting battery, pulling fuses, nothing seemed to work. I ordered a new touch screen and digitizer from Amazon. Very easy to install. Takes about 20 minutes. Drove the truck for 30 minutes following and all seemed well. Next time I drove it, the same problems returned. Coulda put my fist through the screen! Couple days later after regaining my composure, I removed the screen and digitizer. I took WD-40 Contact Cleaner and sprayed the heck out of everything even spraying it into the CD player. Two weeks later and so far, so good. Crazy to me how there doesn't seem to be just one fix for this problem. I fully expect a class action lawsuit.
  2. Got this message once in my 2015 Sierra. After reading this thread I was excited to try it the next day and see if it actually worked. The next day, my compass was back to normal. I guess I'll never know.
  3. Had this happen while on vacation driving through the Rockies. Thought I fried the tranny as I was hauling balls to get to our campsite before dark. Turns out it was just a plug wire that had come loose. Hope you get good news like that!
  4. Manufacturers will recommend the pressure that will give the smoothest ride. I normally bump it up about 20% to get better mileage but the ride does suffer.
  5. Took my vehicle in for servicing and mentioned the ear ringing chime volume and that I thought there was a TSB to remedy it. They looked at me like I was nuts. But said they would check on it. They found nothing and it still rings my ears when it goes off. Annoying as hell.
  6. Been using it for about two months. Haven't noticed any drop off in mileage or power. I keep it out of my small engines though. Mowers, snow blowers, etc.
  7. I'd much rather have this than my rear camera, tbh.
  8. Clear Lake. Wow this is one old thread. Been on this site for almost a year and never been to this corner before. 1st person to post here in almost 3 years.
  9. My 10 year old asked why they call it "rolling" the window down. At first I thought he was being a smart alec, then I realized he's never been in a vehicle with a window crank. Waiting for him to ask why it's called "hanging up" the phone.
  10. I'm calling my dealer today! The only thing I've been able to find is to pull the key out and stick it back in. Obviously that only works if the engine is off.
  11. I'd be fine with a manual dimming mirror. I never even considered when I got my Sierra that it wouldn't have an auto dimming mirror. WTF? What's next? Manual steeing?
