oilspill

Hello all, driving my 2016 Silverado LT 5.3 6 spd with 120K miles home the other day when I felt what I thought at the time was misfiring - seemed to be "skipping" while coasting on the highway - heavier acceleration seemed ok. Got it home and started it the next day and it wouldn't go into gear - forward or reverse - just revving. Turned the truck off and started it again, was able to shift into D and got about 10 feet and then nothing, just engine revving. Didn't get much time to look at it before work but fluid level was fine. From doing some searching around here it seems like the torque converter could be the issue but wanted some feedback before I have it towed to a shop. Thanks!
