I have new take off DL8(?) mirrors from 2013 and 2016 collecting dust in the box.

Has anyone installed the rough country cold air intake on their 14-18 Gm or Chev? As a tech I was always against them, but wit ha pre-filter cover and keeping it clean, it should be good. OK, I have been out of the mirror talk for awhile, about 3 years ago, with pgamboa help, I wired in my own harness and installed Chinese mirrors. My right heated mirror cracked awhile ago and I have been unable to find a replacement glass. Today I got a steal on a couple of Factory mirrors Part numbers# Left 84041601 and Right 84041617, the Right mirror has what looks like a Temp sensor built in? They have 4 bolts ( Been so long I don't recall what mine had) I am wondering if these will even fit my 2016 Silverado, it came with stock heated, turn signal in glass mirrors. Any info would be greatly appreciated so I don't have to pull a door panel just to do a test fit. Thank you in advance.

Has anyone replaced or modified the Park lamp leds? I did the tow mirror upgrade using ebay mirrors and some connectors from Phil, they worked great until the truck was washed at the Dealer and the Driver side park lamp leds quit. So I am looking to either replace them, or I might just black out both park lamps on the mirrors so it doesn't look so bad. Any suggestions or pointers to a thread on changing these?

I'll be calling my Gm buddy tomorrow to price out the wheel and clock spring, looks like the Silverado wheel with heat and without crash warning buttons is not available for some reason, The # 23278626 , Maybe you guys bought them all? lol Does anyone know if #84053917 is a change up part #?

Anyone with Esi access or know the wire terminal Gm part numbers for Connectors x510/x610 terminals 1,2,5,13 (all should be same terminals) and Connectors x500/x600 terminals 9,11, 41?

Has anyone purchased Ebay Kits for 2016 Lt 1500 pick ups with original DL8 mirrors? I Would like black, power, heated and working clear and amber leds if possible. No need for power folding, It looks like If I go plain black (07-13 look) with no Leds it will plug right in with no extra harness, Is there a Ebay or amazon kit like this with the amber and cargo leds? This 29 pages is alot of info to process, but not many people mentioning aftermarket kits

I live in Northern British Columbia, auto steps don't fly here. They might last through the one year warranty and that would be it.

Has anyone re-painted the flimsy chrome stock running boards? I bought a used set and polished them up to make them look ok enough short term, but they pit so bad and so easy. I was thinking either spray bomb them with flat black rock guard, or sand blast them then get them sprayed with rhino lining. Anyone already done this? Any pictures? Thanks.

I had a clunk in the steering column of my 2013 Sierra from using the steering wheel to jump in, I happily paid 50$ for this grab handle and installed it. Works like a charm and matches the passenger side to boot.

I called my local gm, my discounted price was 33$ Can, but I am not sure if that was the correct one. I'll message him today and ask if its the new 16, 6 pin harness. If you get ahold of two terminals though, the hardest part will be getting them sealed in the connector.

Thank you, Once I pick up the truck, I'll take a look at the 6 pin dummy connecter and likely just install gm terminals and wires to power an aftermarket set. I am used their 30 terminal trays I worked as a GM tech for 11 years.
