  2. Seems this got question got skipped over...... Curious, once those changes are made are they permanent in regards to any “updates” the dealer might do if you take your truck in for service? Or would a dealer flash/update overwrite the WAMS changes and put everything back to original? Regards, rog

  4. Curious, once those changes are made are they permanent? What happens if I take my truck into the dealer and they do an “update” on the BCM? Does it retain the changes that WAM did? Regards, rog
  5. Anybody looking for a 2018 L5P Diesel cluster, saw this one on ebay today. Part# 8438-5169 https://www.ebay.com/itm/2017-Chevy-GMC-2500-3500-Instrument-Cluster-Diesel-8430-5169/163106348340?ssPageName=STRK%3AMEBIDX%3AIT&_trksid=p2060353.m1438.l2649 It is listed as a 2017, but I emailed WAMS to verify it would work on a 2017, but they informed me that it was for a 2018. Looks to have a scratch on the lens and small crack at a tab, but a good price anyways. Regards, big rog
  6. I have searched for answers to this but have not had much luck finding anything so far. I have a 2017 Silverado 3500 LT Dually. It came with manual cloth seats. These do not have the SRS (airbags) in the shoulder area of the seats. I found a deal on some heated and cooled leather seats out of an LTZ, and these have the SRS (airbags) in the shoulder area of the seats. I have read and understand the issues with getting the heated and cooled aspects working, but what I am not clear about is wiring up the SRS. Is it as simple as getting the wires pinned out correctly and you can have functioning SRS in the seats? I also read that the upfitter guide showed SRS wiring the same for LT - LTZ - Denali - SLT.....etc. Thanks for any insight on this. Big Rog
  7. I can’t say a whole lot. I only had them on my truck for about 10k miles. They were a little noisy, not as loud as others I have heard going down the highway though. Didn’t have a chance to try them off-road either. I raised the front by cranking on the torsion keys. It rode like crap with the stock tires on it like that. When I put the Kanatis on they did seem to soften the ride quite a bit. For 10k miles, they did not seem to be wearing out fast either. I liked them well enough that I bought 7 more to put on my Dually that I traded the black truck for. I had to go with the next smaller size, but I am really impressed with he ride quality on the new 3500. And I cranked the torsion bars on it as well. Only have about 1500 miles on the Dually so far.
  8. Sorry, I do not, and I do not own this truck any more. Being on the factory wheels the tires were pretty much flush with the body.
  9. Up for sale is a black leather steering wheel with cruise controls and audio controls, but without heat and without collision alert. This was taken off of a 2016 Silverado 1500 LT Z71. Was only on the truck for about 2 months and maybe 1500 miles. Was taken off and replaced with a heated steering wheel. There are no scratches or blemishes in the leather and still looks new. GM part #: 23278606 $150 shipped, continental US only (clock spring included)
  10. FOund a Silverado that has the hood conversion with the HD front end.
