  1. Yeah I didn't really feel like taking them apart but it's probably for the best. They were already throwing a fit over my lift but that's something completely different that shouldn't have anything to do with this.
  2. Hello guys, I need some diagnostic theories here. I have a 2014 Silverado LTZ with 24,170 miles. A little over a month ago I had my Stabilitrak and ABS lights randomly turn on while I was driving, in conjunction to that both my front and rear parking sensors are not working. I have been really busy with school and starting a new job that I haven't really had time to look into it. The truck still ran fine and everything so I didn't really pay it any mind and said I would get around to it eventually. Well the problem started getting worse about 2 weeks ago, as I was leaving work I was turning out of the parking lot and my truck just randomly dies. My dash was still working and all the service lights came on as if the key was in the on position without the truck running, I was able to put it in park, turn the key off and turn it back on. It started just fine and I was able to drive home fine. I looked at it when I got home but everything looked normal under the hood. Well this same thing happened again yesterday. I was turning onto a busy street when boom my truck cuts off again, same thing all the dash lights come on but no other warnings. I had no brakes and no steering whatsoever I was literally a rolling 3 ton brick. Anyways I remembered what I did last time so I put it in neutral turned the key off and turned it back on, again it started right up and luckily I was a mile away from home so cruised home slowly so I can change my pants after all that. I bought the truck back in March and it has been trouble free up until now. I know my way around an engine but not when it comes to electrical stuff if this is what it is. There's only 2 things I can think of that might have some cause in this. 1. For 4th of July I was the dummy that was playing music out of the truck for a couple hours and that might have drained the battery a little as when I went to turn the truck on I had a warning message saying "battery saver turned on". But the truck started right up and I figured the hour drive home would charge it back up. 2. The other thing that might have something to do with it are my HID headlights. I installed those back around April they have worked great with no problems... up until about a month ago. I noticed every time I hit some sort of bump or pothole in the road and they would flicker off and come right back on. I looked into it and noticed one of my ballasts was loose so I tightened it up check that all the wiring was nice and secure and that fixed the problem for about a week. Now its doing it again, I don't know if maybe I just need a new battery and its not sending enough voltage to the lights or what. As far as the Stabilitrak and ABS lights, I've heard any little battery or electrical issue causes the sensors to trip on these newer trucks so I assume everything is all related to one issue. I'm going to take the battery to get checked today after work and I finally made an appointment with the dealer tomorrow. My only fear is that the truck won't act up while its at the dealer and they'll say nothing's wrong. Sorry for the long read any other theories or suggestions are welcome, thanks!
  3. Pictures from the other day at home and at the office after a full detail. Wishing it was this clean right now, its flooding like crazy in Houston.
  4. Replaced my stock LTZ fogs with diode dynamics XML2 bulbs should be done with the matching HID low beams by tonight. Thanks fast headlights for the fast shipping!
