  1. I have an SLE and the headlights were simply plug and play, just took a few nights to get the projectors lined up correctly, or as correctly as I think they should be. I installed the Spyder tail lights the other day, they are SHARP! I will post a picture a soon as I am able.
  2. Any way to get a pic of the tail lights in action when you are able? Thanks! Probably going to order a set today. Think I am going to get the Chrome with Red lenses so they look close to stock and will go along with the color of my truck (Bronze Alloy).
  3. I got the headlights squared away, thanks for everyone's help. Now I am just trying to get them adjusted correctly which is just going to take some time. On another note, has anyone purchased and/or installed the Spyder Tail Lights for the Sierra? I am thinking about purchasing a set to replace the stock ones. The Spyder ones look pretty sweet, just like the headlights. Thanks again everyone!
  4. It is an SLE. I had DRLs before, but they were not the LED DRLs, it just used the projector bulb as the DRL. The SLEs DRLs are the projector lights, themselves. The SLTs DRLs is the LED strip.
  5. Here is a quick shot of Chewie after I finished the install, yesterday.
  6. OK, I guess I am just screwing something up on this issue. Is there an icon that appears in the instrument cluster when the DRLs are on? Again, I am just running through these things as I have never noticed this before. Also, with the DRLs on these Spyder headlights, it is just the main projector bulb that is running, correct?
  7. ...and again. I might be thinking too much into this issue as I have never really paid attention to the DRLs on the OEM headlights. I just found out that if the truck is in Park the DRLs will not come on. But, if anyone has any additional information or thoughts to ease my mind, that would be cool. I did find this in the manual. The DRL system comes on when the following conditions are met: . The ignition is on. . The exterior lamp control is in AUTO. . The transmission is not in P (Park). . The light sensor determines it is daytime.
  8. OK, I got them installed and they look great! I will post a picture this evening, if I remember. But, I am having one issue or I must be doing something incorrectly. For some reason I seem to be having an issue with the DRLs not coming on all of the time. Sometimes it seems as though they come on and others they don't. I am not sure what I am doing. I called the tech support last night for the headlights and they worked through it and it seemed to be working, but again this morning. When I park the truck and got out (with the truck still on) no lights were on. I made sure that the "Automatic Light Control" was set to ON. Any ideas or something I might be doing incorrect? I am at lose, and don't want to see my OEM headlights until I get this resolved or figure out what I am doing wrong. Thanks again.
  9. Those are awesome. I ordered a set yesterday. I ended up getting the Chrome with Clear Lenses. Should be here on Thursday so hopefully I can get them installed this weekend. Any chance you could post a night picture?
  10. So the installation was pretty straight forward other than adjustments? Did they come with installation instructions? I know you've got to take the molding off of the top of the front bumper. Was that difficult? Thanks again! Btw, those lights look awesome on your truck. Cannot wait to get them installed on mine and hopefully it will help with the lighting...
  11. Awesome, thanks for the reply. I plan on ordering a set today. Did you have to do any adjusting to the projectors? Or were they pretty spot on when you installed the lights?
  12. Failed to mention that my truck is an SLE so I was not sure if anything additional might be needed for installation?
  13. Good morning fellow truckers, I am fairly new to these boards so if this has been brought up prior, please forgive me. I have a 2015 GMC Sierra and like many of you, the headlights suck. I have been looking at several options and have narrowed them down to these Spyder DRL Projector Headlights. http://www.spyderauto.com/product.php?mode=cs&id=PRO-YD-GS14V2-LBDRL-BK&car_make=GMC&car_model=Sierra&car_year=2015&cat=Projector_Headlight&t=-GMC-Sierra-1500-2500HD-3500HD-2015-(compatible-on-models-w-factory-LED-Daytime-Running-Light-Only)-Projector-Headlights-Light-Bar-DRL-Black http://www.spyderauto.com/product.php?mode=cs&id=PRO-YD-GS14V2-LBDRL-C&car_make=GMC&car_model=Sierra&car_year=2015&cat=Projector Headlight *Has anyone installed/used these before? If so, what are your thoughts on them? Is there a better option for around the same price? I am not looking to get into a really involved switch out. I would like it to be as stock looking and minimally invasive as possible. **Also, which one do you guys think would look better on a Bronze Alloy Metallic, the black or chrome ones? Thanks in advance!
