  1. I need to know more about this tire setup. I didn’t go this route bc I didn’t know if u could put a tire that is just over 11” wide on a rim that’s 7.5 “ wide. I already have a lift/level of about 2” ish in the front and 1” in the rear so I know I won’t have an issue with the height but my question is would there be any issues with the width at full lock? Did u need spacers? No issues towing 8,000 lb for a good distance with the tire being that much wider then the rim? Any info on this would be great, thanks.
  2. Yea the rake is stupid on these trucks, u got to b pullin something pretty damn front heavy to level these trucks out. Wish they would come factors a little taller and less rake. Would also like to have a damn steering stabilizer on these things. Save everyone from doing all this extra crap after dropping $48,000.
  3. Are u shittin me! I called about the same exact thing, I wanted 2 inch in the rear and the lady i talked to said they couldn't do that.that kinda pisses me off lol. I will b giving them a call in a few mins. Glad to hear u got what u wanted tho. You will like the way it looks, im super happy with mine and will b even more when I get this 2 inch block that i may have to pay $160 for. Ughhhhh
  4. I think the ride was better bc I didn't max out the kit I purchased and the diff drop spacers helped aswell. If I could have went a little lower in the front i would have but it wouldn't clear the tires i put on. I do like a little rake but these new Chevys have a crazy amout of rake.
  5. Yep that's it, same place I got mine from. before I put the bigger tires on the ride was better then factory. The straps aren't shown but they def came with the kit.just so u know You do need some kind of torsion key tool for the installation. It doesn't say anything about it online but it does in the instructions. I didn't have one and posted a pic of what I used earlier in this thread, im not recommending the way I did it but it worked well. O and the instal time is bs, if u arent a machanic with a lift and a helper then it will prob take u about 5-7 hours, it did for me anyway lol.
  6. I put in the tuff country 3.5 inch lift, 3.5 inch in the front and 1 inch in the rear. I lowered the front to 3 inch to keep a nicer ride. Some guys here will say that the kit is crap and all but for the price of $700 it gave me a good amount of lift and honestly it rose way better then stock. The kit had new uca's,keys, diff drop spacers, shock extensions and limiter straps. Only thing that took my ride away a little bit is the aggressive big ass tire I bought, i can clear 35's. Hope this helps
  7. O and I took this pic while I was installing the kit into my truck. Online instructions didn't say anything about a special tool for the keys so I never ordered one,I had to improvise lol. Some of u might get a kick out of it.
  8. Cv angles aren't as bad as I thought they would b, I have diff drop spacers in that came with the kit. As far as the height of have to get that tomorrow but I belive I have about 44 1/2 inch in the front from ground to fender going up the center of the wheel.
  9. I wish I could afford the duramax, this is the 6.0. As far as tires, I looked for 2 months and I ended up going with toyo at extreams in 285/75/18. They have a pretty aggressive tread but just a bit less then the mt's. Figured they would b perfect for on and off road. I too drive around on the farm abit, just got them on tho and haven't taken them off road yet. It is also an E rated tire and rated for 65,000 miles but we shall c about that.
  10. I had a 2012 dodge 2500 with a 5 inch lift before this truck and ran into that same problem, couldn't buy a 5th wheel bc of the height. you shouldnt have any problem with a 5th wheel on this truck bc it is only one inch in the rear. The tires I went with put it up another 1.25 inch so if you had a little smaller tire you would b fine. 11. 3 inch lift in the front and 1 inch in the rear, 18x9 anthem rims and 285/75/18 toyo at extreams! The pic does very little for the truck, i belive this is about the most perfect setup I've done. Love it
