  1. I'm looking to basically sell my audio setup from my truck as it's getting traded in in the coming week or two. I have a fairly nice audio setup speaker/amp wise with the right hardware so I'm hoping someone here will want some/all of it The two main pieces of the setup are the Nav-TV M650-GM and the amp which is a JL VX800/8i. I paired this setup with a set of focal 3 way components for the front (PS165F3) & rear (Focal PC165F coaxials). The channel is an 8 channel JL amp with their EQ built in. You have granular control over all 8 channels as well as the two output RCAs. I have pics of the amp handy, the NAV-TV is still behind my dash but in perfect condition. It along with the speakers will be coming out in the next week. The amp I can disconnect/sell whenever. Here is the info on the M650 https://navtv.com/products/NTV-KIT838/m650-gm.html. I'm willing to sell the NAV-TV M650-GM for $350 shipped & the JL amp for $1000 shipped. I do not have a box for the speakers and therefore I do not feel comfortable shipping them. I am offering them at half off MSRP when I bought them last year, I bought them from crutchfield and crutchfield is an authorized focal dealer. This would mean I'm asking $500 for the front 3 ways and $175 for the rear coaxials. I'm located in NY on long island. I do not have the original crossovers as I ran an active setup with these.
  2. Can't speak for the Zone 4.5" pricing, but that price is about what I paid for my 6" BDS lift on my Denali. As far as re-gearing, I wouldn't worry too much about it. I have 35's (and a 5.3 with the 8 speed tm & 3.42's) and power is fine in my eyes. I also did intake, exhaust & a tune to compensate.
  3. I might be inclined to push this option slightly as it won't involve cutting and shouldn't sacrifice ride quality. Aside from this a 3-4" suspension lift that has best quality/ride/warranty/etc kind of contradicts cutting. I'd recommend Zone all day long, I have a BDS in my truck as zone wasn't offered and I love it. The cutting was 100% worth the warranty/ride quality that came along with it in my opinion.
  4. Thanks! This is the first truck I lifted, well honestly the first truck I've ever owned. I've always loved modding vehicles though and the truck is no different. I did a ton of research when trying to figure out how to lift my truck, I of course have magride, which severely limits my options and knocks out some of the cheaper kits. My biggest worry was destroying the ride of my truck and I believe I have 100% made the right choice. I was originally looking at the Fabtech kids per recommendation of a buddy of mine, but my mechanic told me the kit was basically irreversible which ended up getting me to sway towards doing a 6" with 35's. I looked at many different manufacturers, being RC, ProComp, BDS, readylift, cognito, etc. At the end of the day, the top notch kits really tend to be zone/bds, cognito, fts, and idk maybe a few others. Before BDS I was set on going pro-comp as I had heard good things, I spent the time and drove to a dealership which had a pro-comp lifted truck new and drove it to see how I liked it and I did. When I went to the local pro-comp dealer he couldn't even figure out which kit fit my truck, which was a major turn off and made me re-think my current choice. I had already gone and priced the BDS locally but they wanted $4650 to lift my truck 6" which wasn't going to happen. The gentleman who is authorized to deal in ProComp was trying to talk me into a RC 7.5 in lift. I checked his truck out, wasn't a huge fan of the angles of everything and decided against it. A good buddy of mine also wasn't a fan of a couple of their instructions as well in the install and said he wouldn't run it. Long story short I ended up driving 1200 miles to my house in FL and getting my truck lifted by a BDS authorized installer in Orlando, which is probably the best decision I ever made. If I had to do it again I'd pick BDS, awesome product, awesome support, and awesome warranty. In your position I'd probably go BDS personally without coil overs unless they were going to get used all the time.
  5. Little late to the party but my truck's been lifted as of about 2 weeks ago. 2016 GMC Sierra Denali lifted with a 6" BDS lift, 20" XD buck wheels (20 X 9) & 35's (Toyo open country ATII's). This is the first truck I've ever owned and subsequently lifted so I was torn between decisions. Was originally looking to do a Fabtech 4" and 33's but I'm happy with the route I took!
  6. Welp, got a quote for $4650 installed on a BDS 6" today for my 2016 GMC Sierra Denali, I won't be purchasing that! I called a BDS authorized dealer in FL and was offered basically half of that, pretty sure I'll be taking a roadtrip to get my lift installed.
  7. Now that I've officially found this thread, does anyone here happen to have a 2014+ denali with a pro comp lift? Or is there anything else I should look into that requires minimal cutting? It looks like with the pro comp cutting the diff and other pieces is not necessary. The only problem I seem to be having is figuring out if they make a kit for my truck! Everytime I talk to them I get a different answer.
