  1. Clean and shiny for probably the last time this year, as Ohio winter is coming.
  2. Got some new shoes. Goodyear Wrangler UltraTerrain AT in LT275/70/18. They're a Discount Tire exclusive from Goodyear. Seem to be relatively similar to the Duratracs. Loving them so far. Smooth riding, and no more road noise than the Cooper Discoverer RTX tires that came off. They'll see some light off roading in a few weeks to put them through their paces.
  3. I just put 2.5" leveling struts on the front of my 2019 LT, and the alignment went fine. They were able to get everything perfectly in spec. Seems odd to me that with a lesser height spacer, they had that much trouble getting everything in spec.
  4. Installed the Rough Country 2" leveling struts up front. About a 3 hour job with just hand tools in the driveway. Measurements from ground to wheel wells are 39" in the rear, and 38.5" up front after install. Not sure why it looks nose-high to the naked eye, but according to the measuring tape, it's not.
  5. We got some more snow here in NE Ohio today. Around 14 inches. All of it fell in the span of about 12 hours. Not something that happens here often.
  6. Thanks. They're Ultra Armageddon 18x9 +18 offset. Tires are 265/70/18 General Grabber X3's. Stock suspension, except for swapping the rear shocks out for some rough country N3 shocks. Took a little bit of the instability out of the rear on washboard type roads.
  7. I just cleaned mine yesterday. They really weren't difficult at all to get out, or to get back together. One thing I did notice is when you push them back together at the locking points, they go back together a little easier if you put outward pressure on both mats. Hard to describe, but basically push outward on both mats away from where they meet. I've found that helps them slip together better. Also, for the cleaning itself, a little carwash soap and a soft bristle brush attached to a cordless drill makes it real easy.
  8. I would suggest trying a different set of tires, if your dealer is willing. I had a set of brand new Cooper tires cause a vibration above 60, even though they balanced out within spec. The replacement set does not vibrate.
  9. My 19 with the 5.3l and 8 speed does this occasionally. 2 different dealers said GM is aware and it's "expected behavior" of the transmission when operating cold. As stated above, it's less likely to happen if I let the truck run for a few minutes before pulling out and putting it in drive. I read at some point in another thread here that it has to do with the clutch packs or valves needing time to fill with fluid, or something along those lines.
  10. Got a deal on these locally. Figured they're worth a try for half price. They feel pretty decent so far. Much better than the stock ones that had 46k on them anyway.
  11. Looking to sell the original wheels that were on my 16 Silverado Z71. They're in near perfect condition, just a couple light scratches here and there that you have to be right up on to see. They have a set of Dueler A/T tires on them right now that are just about dead. Maybe a little life left to them. I don't have the 16 anymore, and these won't fit my 19, so I have no use for them. If anyone is interested in them, I'll sell them locally for $600 for all 4. I think I also have the factory nuts somewhere for them. I'm located in northeast Ohio, but I do pretty frequently travel to Northwest PA and the Ft. Wayne IN area. I'd be happy to meet up with anyone that is interested.
  12. I've never gotten stuck anywhere, in either my 2019 or my 2016 in 4 hi with the G80. You do have to be willing to live with the wheel spin required to lock up the G80. Which I think is something like a 500rpm difference between the rear wheels. EDIT: apparently it's 120rpm. Google is cool.
