  1. Thanks for the writeup! I have a very basic Silverado...no moonroof, no leather, no multi-disc changer, etc. That's the way I wanted it. However, if there was any option I'd like to have, it would be a heated steering wheel. My hands get COLD in these Wisconsin winters. Just about warmed up by the time I get to work in the morning...
  2. In what area? Last I checked, Wisconsin is purdy big! First, take it to an Autozone (or even a dealer) and just have them read the code - this should be free. Before you have a dealer or shop do any work, let us know what that code is and we'll tell you if what they decide to replace is actually what needs to be replaced! -Steve
  3. Oh yeah...a little background about me. I started on vehicles by lifting my 1990 Chevy Suburban 4" and outfitting it with 33" tires and many other ($,$$$) goodies. I've been to the Pipeline and McCaslin mountain twice. Unfortunately, I'm thinking about selling her because she doesn't get driven much anymore and could use some body work (for my taste anyway). I recently purchased a 2000 Chevy Silverado 1500 4x4 Z71 Extended Cab Short Bed which I like a lot. Surprising amount of power from a (what I assume to be) stock vehicle. -Steve
  4. Hey guys...originally from Delafield, Wisconsin (about 1/2 hour West of Milwaukee) which is still my permanent home. I'm currently at UW-Madison studying Mechanical Engineering. Neat to see someone from Coleman...I drive through there a lot in the fall heading to our 40 acres and cabin in Crivitz. Love that area of the state! -Steve
