  1. On my 2006 Silverado ext cab 4x4 with the large 6.0L vortex Maxx I started having trouble with oil pressure gauge. At first I simply thought was only days that it was lower then 10 degrees ferinheight outside but now it's over 60 out and still isn't right. When starting the truck I have below quarter gauge of pressure and once warms up few mins it will rise however now it will never go above half. Normal running last couple years it always ran around 3/4 with slight movement depending on driving n towing. Now it will sometimes randomly drop while driving to warning bell even ringing. I have no codes except for sometime MAF performance. My oil dipstick has been good last few times check. Also I run a full synthetic oil. I do however have small leak that I loose less then quart between oil change that I can't find. It's either the lines from motor to radiator oil cooler or the cooler itself. I haven't been able to pinpoint because large amount of lines n cooler are always wet with oil so can't tell what is coming out from where. Could use help on what should I check or do first such as is it likely my oil pressure sensor or does it sound like could be my oil pump causing pressure failure even when rev the motor some.
  2. It was on the lift having a snow plow frame put on the front. Alignment was done and seemed ok but i did notice with this truck it goes through tires fast, about a year.
  3. Not sure what it means but I know it's not right....when truck was on lift last it was noticed my torsion bar keys are more than 90% cranked in on both? However the truck is stock on stock tires n rims, and it sits completely level. I was told it should be 2" higher being cranked in and it seems rougher ride feel like a 2500HD would be? Is it something to worry about or should be replaced?
  4. I have a 2006 Chevy Silverado Lt 6.0L 4x4 ext cab. On the dash is a button to stiffen or soften shocks depending on terrain and conditions. I haul average weight quiet often thought the year in bed and trailer. Normally I leave bottom on which is stiffer shocks. However now it's become a nusence to have on "stiff". Within moments of driving the truck will start to slightly bounce as if I had board or something stuck to tire. Speed or load does not change the bounce/vibrations. As soon as shocks are turned off truck will immediately drive smoothly. First time with electrical shocks and their not cheap so not sure what could cause or how to fix without guessing....please help
