  1. Added some Seat Cover / Cushion. Was on the lookout for somethig decent that would not break the bank and was tossed up between something like this and a nice sheepskin which which can be pricey. These were on sale $41 (reg $119) each at Canadian Tire so decided to give them a try. After 1 smaller roadtrip I think they were worth it at that price.
  2. seems like it should be called an overkill switch these days. From what I understand most high end or newer car thefts they just roll up with a truck or flatbed and tow you away. Now a days a driver can hook you up and bolt without even needing to get out in like 1 min or less. This of course does not count for thugs and holigans but they are more likly to steel your stock rims lol or just smash the window to go through console etc for loose cash. Most common criminals or thugs will not the have kind of equipment to steal a late model gm. If they do have the equipment it won't matter if they really want it they will just tow it.
  3. That is the bugger with these trucks stock. No good mounting places unless you want to start drilling holes in roof etc. It would be nice and if any GM people are listening if from the factory they come equipped with a place to mount brackets and a hole which is plugged but can be opened up under the Black Trim on roof. Seriously this would be a great feature for so many roof mounted utilities.
  4. for sale slightly used customized Silverado LT. low mileage and no rust. paint is in great shape only a few scratches that should buff right out. lawl.
  5. I looked at these awhile ago as thought they looked cool but they have bad reviews. Lots of people complain about the quality and especially waterproofing. Anzo does not seem to make high quality products IMO they just sell flashy. But does kind of makes sense that water may be an issue at that location.
  6. ROFL called it! Nope educate yourself and learn to do maths. Just you if you think 0% actually exists. Give your head a shake and then go type in in google. Go ahead I will wait. Uh yea, no it is not. A lot of the most successful companies in the world never work with cash. The most important thing is making money, of which dealers are typically good at and they make money of every single finance agreement even those so called 0% in addition to the sale of the car. It is two separate transactions (3 if you trade in) and they make money off each one. Also the term 'cash' in regards to a car purchase ONLY refers to buying the car out right. If you finance anything it is NOT a cash purchase period. Do not take my word for it go educate yourself.
  7. Fully encourage to get financing outside of GM/Dealer. Negotiating a cash price then going elsewhere for financing is best option. They can often give you a better rate on a secured loan. Case in point. Point is all those 0% offers you see advertised are simply a gimmick.
  8. no such thing. also 0% financing does not actually exist and anyone who took a 0% deal is actually paying ~6%. Do not take my word on it go to google and type it in an educate yourself. queue the folks saying 'bargle bargle i have 0% and its real duh' actually no it us not and you were taken for a ride look it up. It is a gimmick for people who are bad or too lazy to do the math. Negotiate a cash price and get your financing from someone other than GM and do the math.
  9. Pretty sure if no factory fogs they have no wiring or a switch. While you can technically do it by getting the light + harness + switch (which is your lighting dial so not cheap) it is technically possible. IMO you are better off going with an aftermarket solution which will be a whole lot cheaper but just as good quality and output. You just wire it up with a relay and a non factory switch like any ol lightbar. 2016's may have some trouble finding an aftermarket solution that fits since they are 'chinese eyes' foglights and pretty narrow. Worth looking into though before paying inflated dealership prices. Very simple to add then to a 2014 or 15. This video shows how to install LED fogs on a 2015 with factory fogs. The install is the same and the kit comes with a relay switch and harness if you do not have factory fogs.
  10. I have seen some sloppy self interior installs that looked like a kid did it but yours look great if that is any consolation for your fingers tighter but still experienced ..... wait what were we talking about?
  11. Plus it is just cool shit, after doing my truck I was quickly all like ' oooo now what else can I do' and bought 2 more bottles.
  12. The 0 cent fix. Just point your vents so the blow across steering wheel turn on the heat and win. We have been doing this in Canada for some time, you can also call it the maple syrup fix.
