  1. cool shot from this past weekend racing at Nashville Superspeedway...the truck didn't make it on track but it ended up in victory lane haha
  2. Not mine, too rich for my blood haha. I am a technician at Acura, its the first one we've gotten in. only $201,200
  3. 4wd. had it in the shop this past weekend making some adjustments. sat about a 1/4" lower on the LF so I made up some spacers to even it up. the RR was also alittle higher so I brought it down raising the opposite corner. Rides and drives great, no rubbing except full lock, barely touches the fender liners on large interstate bridge overpasses
  4. cool picture from the weekend...or lack there of since I was working haha
  5. ended up being about a 4.5/7 drop being a Z71. DJM 3" drop arms with Belltech front springs set on 1 inch. raised up about a half inch. rear is a DJM 6 inch flip kit with the shorter 1 inch shackle and Belltech nitro drop 2 shocks
  6. yessir, if I would have known I was going to drop it this much I would have opted for a little lower profile tire but it really isn't that bad, it barely rubs
  7. I haven't noticed it being any different to be honest. Part number SH1000? that's what I used. I know the Mcgaughys shackles I used said 88-16 were the same so I don't know what the difference would be with 99-06
  8. DJM makes a 1 inch lift shackle, I actually used it on my flip kit to get the extra inch down since I have the rear hanger inverted. I love my nitro drop 2s in the rear, huge improvement over my stock ranchos. im currently on #8504 for 2-4" lowering, need to swap them out for the #8510 which are for 5-7" lowering. I did not like the shock extender method, looked horrible and really didn't like how low the mounts were in relation to the rest of the truck
  9. decided to play around with some parts to get the truck down alittle more. 4.5/7 according to all of my measurements from when I first started with it. actually went too low in the front, had to space it up...still may bring it up a 1/4' or so. only issue is the top of the tire hits the fender liner on larger freeway bridge transitions (few of them in my daily route) other then that only full lock rubs...not on the fender liner but actually the inner lip of the rim touches the upper control arm. some wheel spacers will take care of that. no issues what so ever with 4wd. the rear driveshaft is now flat, plenty of clearance everywhere but need to play with the pinion angle still, getting a vibration for the first time at 70 and above. ride is not compromised in fact I believe it rides better then before. Probably should go to the next step shorter nitro drop 2 rear shocks since they are pretty compressed. That's it for me this time, its as low as it goes haha doesn't even look like the same truck anymore
  10. cool picture from a few weeks back after getting home from LS Fest. C10 is a '72 LS3/T56 powered
  11. no prob man, glad I could help. I think the confusion was the other member has a '16 with a steel front end, so I was giving him the part numbers for his truck, not what I used on mine
  12. my truck is the aluminum front end. I used CA2515-3
  13. thanks a lot! didn't originally plan on going that low but it definitely needed it!
