  1. If you place absolutely zero value in keeping anything dry in the back of your truck then sure it's a great cover. Their customer service was responsive in my multiple requests for replacements so I will give them that at least. If I had to do it over I 100% would not buy that cover. 2. I have a keystone passport 239 which is probably 5500 lbs fully loaded 2 axles. I seem to settle in at about 6 to 6.5 on the trailer brake depending on truck load to make it feel "right". Sent from my Pixel 4 using Tapatalk
  3. My window was replaced with a fuayo window of the same model number that came on my truck that leaked. The dealer had a local glass company do the install. I fully expect it to leak at some point. I carry two cans of flex seal and a tube of silicone windshield caulk in my glove box for any roadside leak repairs Sent from my Pixel 4 using Tapatalk
  4. The secret code is don't buy that leaking piece of junk in the first place. You can have mine forn$400 Sent from my Pixel 4 using Tapatalk
  5. I get it too. 2020 trail boss 5 3 10 speed. 1-2 seems to hesitate or almost slip a little before engagement to 2nd. Mostly noticeable under very light acceleration worse when going up hill. Nothing I'm going to worry about. It's still light years ahead of the 8 speed clunker I had on my last truck. Sent from my Pixel 4 using Tapatalk
  6. I will add that I love advanced trailer package that allows you to install tpms sensors in your trailer tires. It shows all 4 tires psi and temp. I check it literally every few minutes when towing at higher speeds on highway. On average my 14 inch travel trailer tires (2 axle 5500lb tt) will start out at 60 psi 80 ton 90 degrees in summer and will add 10 psi and get up to 120 degrees at 65 mph. So those tires really hear up. If your truck has the advanced trailer I would highly recommend getting the sensors installed. Sent from my Pixel 4 using Tapatalk
  7. I had the brake system failure message on my 2020 trail boss a few months ago with a check engine light for about two ignition cycles then it went away on its own. Tonight after using my truck power to raise and lower the tongue jack on my 5000 lb travel trailer several times taking it in to dealer (already removed battery from trailer) I shut off truck. When I went to start truck I got the brake system failure 62 mph top speed warning but it only flashed briefly then went away on its own. Perhaps it had something to do with my battery being low after using it to raise and lower my trailer toung. Sent from my Pixel 4 using Tapatalk
  8. Well folks it's been 10 months since I had my rear window replaced on my 2020 trail boss, you know after also having my 2019 bought back by gm for the rear window leak. I must say I was a legend on this rear window leak forum early on. People at the grocery store would stop me all the time and ask me if I was the rear window leak guy they saw on the internet. Well okay not really. Happy to report still bone dry. It's actually to the point where I don't check it every time it rains anymore. So now that I 100% jinxed myself just wanted everyone to know there is hope that maybe you'll be good after a replacement by a proper glass shop. All in all I'm pretty happy with my truck and would probably buy it again even knowing I might have to replace the window. Just not in black though. THAT was the stupidest decision I ever made. 9. My dad just bought a 20 RST but couldn't find one with the factory brake controller. He pulled the Tekonsha brake controller and pigtail harness out of his 16 Silverado. Does anyone know if the pigtail harness changed with the new trucks or should it just plug and play on the 20 like it did on the 16? Sent from my Pixel 4 using Tapatalk
  10. My 2020 trail boss had a kink in the top left corner just like yours. Identical. Ironically it was leaking in the right side. Sent from my Pixel 4 using Tapatalk
  11. "Fixed"..ha. thanks needed a good Friday quarantine laugh. You are quite the comedian Sent from my Pixel 4 using Tapatalk
  12. I removed my z71 badges last weekend. What a train wreck. Warmed it up but instead of tape coming off truck the badges came off and left all the tape on the truck. I then spent probably 5 hours with soap, sponge and alternating with goo be gone till I couldn't feel my fingertips anymore. There was also a chip in the paint under the badge. So then I had to touch that up. Now I can see the paint chip. Think I might buy new badges to put back on to cover up the paint chip. And honestly I didn't really think it looked all that better without the badges. They are coming out with black z71 badges for the new Carhartt edition trim so might try to get a set of those. 13. Interesting. Just realized the work truck trim doesn't have the spoiler on the back... Sent from my Pixel 4 using Tapatalk
