I was looking at the Putco ones since they also came up in the searches from other info provided here. They seem just as suitable, so I'll probably throw whatever's on Amazon on my Christmas list so my wife can stuff my stocking with it.

Hi all, I picked up a new truck on Monday, and opted not to have the front license plate bracket installed. I assumed this was what the big gaping hole in my front bumper is, but then when looking at it closer, and looking at the license plate bracket that I have in the bag, something doesn't seem right. It seems that whether the front license plate bracket is there or not, there should be something else in this hole, like a little grille or screen or something. Is this normal? It's a 2016 3500HD LTZ Z71. See picture. Thanks
