I have a 2004 GMC 1500 Crew Cab that I purchased new. For a 13 year old truck, it has low mileage ( 60K ). The truck body is in great shape, except near the cab corner / rockers where it has some minor blistering. I thought about trading it in on a new truck, but I'm still recovering from sticker shock lol... even a used, 1 year old truck was pushing the high $30k. The mechanics of the truck is excellent, the issue that I have is the frame.....is rusting,large scales of rust is flaking off. to the point that I'm concerned regarding the integrity of the frame itself... are there new or used frames available for replacement ? And can certain years interchange ? Thanks
