  1. Bilstein shocks all four corners fixed my ride quality issues, absolutely hated the junk Rancho that came from the factory. Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-N920A using Tapatalk
  2. Doesn't matter which setting all 3 ride about the same. I have mine in highest setting rides no different than one I drove that was on middle setting. I spoke at length with bilstein engineers on the phone regarding this. Basically the reason the highest setting doesn't 100% level the truck but it's the max they could design without adversely affecting the ride quality. They are designed so all 3 setting produce the same ride. The certified internet Google trained mechanics may say otherwise but I went straight to the source. Also have a truck right down the road set in the middle setting if I put you I either one you'd never know they are different settings other than a bit more rake on one of em. 3. Ok I doubled stacked the paint stick. I think I feel the difference in throttle response. I'm usually light footed take off not 100% sure. However my transmission is no longer doing the hokey pokey trying to find gears during turns. Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-N920A using Tapatalk
  4. 285 65 18 nitto g2 bilstein lvl shocks on max height. I can get different angles if you want something specific Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-N920A using Tapatalk
  5. Bilstein highly suggest no other type of level blocks on front end. Probably in this thread I already stated this but just in case I'll say it again. I spoke at length with bilstein engineers regarding the front height setting and ride quality. They stated ride quality between the setting is negligible. This is why the highest setting doesn't quite lvl the truck (less than 1/2 inch off) because any higher setting would begin to deminish ride quality. I also was lucky enough to ride in a truck on the 2nd to highest setting and it rides no different than mine on max. Put your mind at ease quit taking all us internet certified mechanics as fact and call bilstein yourself they are awesome. With that being said the ride is amazing. Worth every penny to get ride of the bouncy bouncy crap ranchos. Live near so IN come on by let's go for a ride. Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-N920A using Tapatalk
  6. I spoke at length with bilstein engineers they claim ride difference is negligible. I can go into further details if you'd like. I've also drove a truck set on 2nd to highest and my truck set on max height. Myself and the guy who owns the truck not on max agree there is no noticeable difference in ride quality Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-N920A using Tapatalk
  7. Seemed to help mine along with the other parts slowly replaced. Mine was a process with new parts taking a bit of vibration out at a time until I found it marginally acceptable. Still probably won't buy another gm after owning 10 or so new ones. Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-N920A using Tapatalk
  8. Spoke many times with bilstein engineers they claim ride difference is negligible. To top it off I had the privilege of driving one set on 1 notch below max. Mine are max and I can't tell a difference in ride quality between settings. Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-N920A using Tapatalk
  9. If it's a gmc literally 30 mins or less to install and the light out put is amazing. Squeeze off beauty ring wiggle and pull out old lens (takes some effort) swap out adjusters remove locking tabs from truck (wiggle and push forward or used 10mm socket over rear to push out) install locking tabs on new lights plug in pop back in and light up the night! 10. Well any clue how many sets were sold? There's a vendor on some of the fb groups throwing a fit and spreading lies that our vendor is in big trouble and even goes as far as telling folks the code is invalid well he stopped the invalid part once people kept buying and proving otherwise. He finally got off my ass but had many post deleted, tried to have me kicked out. He claims he is the offical vendor and his 10% discount is all morimoto allows. It's been a fun few days. Yup few days he didn't notice all the post and sales until 2 days ago and at least 20 people from the group have claimed to buy. Supposedly retrofitsource is in big trouble lmao. I wish they could extend it a week just to stress him out. Can't wait to get my hid lights in to compliment the fogs. Pic is nothing but fogs at dusk Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-N920A using Tapatalk
  11. I have mine on tallest (max) setting and the ride is 1000x better than factory. I also have 10ply tires. Obviously the "ride" of our trucks is subjective but for me I'm thrilled at max. I also spoke with bilstein before my install and they say ride difference is negligible between setting meaning all feel about the same. I've been in a truck with them set 1 notch below max and felt the same as mine. No more bouncy bouncy bouncy hit a bump feel a bump and only a bump. Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-N920A using Tapatalk
  12. Rear is factory no lift Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-N920A using Tapatalk
  13. 285 65 18 edited* nitto grappler g2 Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-N920A using Tapatalk
  14. Bilsteins maxed. Rides 1000x better than rancho. Completely changed how my truck rides, corners etc. Not 100% level which I'm good with don't want a squat with light loads. Just about 1/4 inch lower in front Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-N920A using Tapatalk
  15. Got lucky with mine, marked the threads in old light housing put em new to mark thinking it be a good starting point. Didn't need to adjust. I was concerned because these things are bright! But I've driven about 3 hrs after dark with em on and no one has flashed me or I don't seem to be lighting up backseats either. Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-N920A using Tapatalk
