  1. I peeked under my dash this morning just to see if I could do anything...I was able to loosen the 10mm nuts, but could not move the bracket. It was difficult due to stitches in my right palm and left thumb, so maybe it's just because I couldn't get a good grip on it. I even tried to slip a piece of painter's stick, but could not get it to go behind the bracket...hence I tried to remove the bracket. So...are there other nuts/bolts that need to be removed to get in the back of the bracket? Seems like everyone is just slipping washers and pieces of wood behind the bracket, but I don't see how that can be done. I even lost a piece of wood behind the bracket, it fell down behind and I have no idea where it went...LOL! Stitches come out next week Tues, so I plan on trying again, just not sure about removing the bracket. I was going to pm you, but hopefully others that may be lurking will benefit from your answer. On another note, did your wipers pick up the wax from your windshield? I watched that vid as well, heck I drink apple cider vinegar with water in the morning as a wake up drink, makes a good tea! LOL!! I used to do that back in the 90's on my cars, but eventually the wipers start to pick up the wax and starts skipping along the windshield. Haven't tried the Rain-X yet though.
  2. I haven't heard of this. but now that I'm out from under a rock, Ill need to check this out! however, Ill need to wait for my trigger finger surgery on both hands to heal...boy this is not easy to type!! Nice vid on your exhaust!
  3. Thank you Everyone for your info...I'll take a shot at it once the weather gets better only 45 degrees, but the wind is making more like 35 degrees, not to mention the light drizzle!
  4. Has anyone removed the front valence? I'm talking about the chrome piece that looks like a mustache, as well as the gray plastic below it. I haven't looked under the truck yet, due to bad weather here, but would like to know how difficult or easy it is to remove? Is it held on with clips/screws/or both? I'd like to remove them and color match paint them.
  5. Phil is an asset to this forum and others that watch his YouTube channel. The fact that he is willing to share his knowledge with the community shows he wants to help others. Yes he sells his harnesses, but who would want to do that? Most would not do the mod if it took having to customize a harness, so his harnesses is an added benefit to his shared knowledge of mods. I only communicated (PM'd) with him about some of his mods, and he replied with a bunch of links and prices for what I wanted to do. Apparently he is on vacation, but still takes the time to answer his messages, shows great customer service. I will definitely be ordering a few items from him come 2019, after I'm finish with my current painting project.
  6. I have dealt with BBP for a few years now, and have only purchased an AutoCal/Tune. I have always had a positive experience with them. Yes, it "may" take a week for a response, but I plan for that as I don't feel: That the customer is always right The world revolves around me The vendor needs to contact me ASAP The vendor has to have all the answers Customers like the OP is worth having I know they are a small business, so I plan all my communications around that. I would rather have communication via an email than over a phone call, as it goes, if it's not documented, it didn't happen! I also feel the Micro Wave oven was the beginning of people being impatient and wanting everything NOW! Live before the Micro Wave oven was much simpler and people were not in a rush for everything they wanted. I am currently on the list of things to do with BBP, because I emailed them about a week ago informing them I was going to purchase an E85 sensor for my truck and would need a tune...in fact Jarrod suggested putting me on the list, and Justin directed me where to get the sensor. Gottah Love BBP!
  7. Yeah I read the manual, and when it said "heated mirrors if equipped" and didn't see a button, I assumed I did not have that feature. I guess I should have read about the rear defroster. Just glad you mentioned it in your post/directions.
  8. Wait! What! I have heated mirrors and didn't know it! Is this the same for a RCSB? Sheesh...I rarely use my rear window defrost, so maybe that's why I never noticed it. Great Videos! You are such an asset to this Forum, YouTube and many others like me that do not have a clue!
  9. So I assume it must bolt up under radiator somewhere? Is it a single piece or a two piece?
  10. Hmm...I don't have pp, I had issues with them & ebay and haven't used them. Does he take any other form of payment? Is it painted, or raw? What modification are you doing to it? Isn't this the one you have on your truck in the pic?
  11. So how do I get one of these? This puts a very nice touch on a lowered truck!
  12. Do you have a p/n and write up on the mirrors? The heated stuff would come in handy for me in the winter, beats driving with gloves. There's been a few mornings here that were in the 30's, and although that may not seem cold to a lot of people, coming from Hawaii, it's freezing to me! Working on your audio? So what kind of exhaust are you getting...LOL!
  13. Did you do his heated steering wheel, lite/folding outer mirrors and heated seats? I'd like to add these to my truck...especially the heated stuff. Do you have any write ups on these?
  14. Can't wait to read about your motor stuff and when your suspension if final.
