auto stop/start disable question
Lamby66 replied to Lamby66's topic in 2019-2025 Chevy Silverado & GMC Sierra Mods
Well my idea failed. you can not short X1-12 to ground full time, it resets back to auto stop. you need to "pulse" the circuit. The guy with the the new truck went with the auto stop disabler listed above. -
auto stop/start disable question
Lamby66 replied to Lamby66's topic in 2019-2025 Chevy Silverado & GMC Sierra Mods
I printed the info for that jumper, but I think I can via the BCM (which is what is is doing but just from the actual switch connector) for the price of one diode $.05 If I wanted a logic version where it remembers my setting I could build that too. Whats nice about the $90 version is that is is more hidden from dealers prying eyes -
first off, I think you are looking pretty level for not having your load bars on, maybe a little trailer high though. with the load bars on it should be level To comment on your question above, the manufactures cook the numbers. The 11,400 number will be impossible to get to as you will overload something somewhere. Probably your RAWR (rear axle weight rating) first. My loaded 9500lb camper in the picture was 200lbs below the max rating on the rear tire with no payload other than me and more front axle bias than I wanted on the hitch. with it in full "camping mode" I had 20lbs to spare and that was with some creative load balancing in the trailer (aka less tongue weight)

Hello, I have not been on here in a while as I sold my 2016 a while back. A friend of mine bought a new 2019 silverado and HATES the auto stop function. Being a former modder of the BCM I figured I would look at the upfitters guide and see what it says.. Has anyone else attempted a short of BCM K9, X1 pin 12(auto stop start switch signal) to ground full time? It would be the same as pressing the auto stop disable switch the entire time the truck is running. I could build a momentary pulse circuit also if needed, but why if its not needed. This is similar to what a lot of us did with the foglights in the the K2 series trucks Thank you

wiper relay location
Lamby66 replied to Lamby66's topic in 2014-2018 Silverado & Sierra Troubleshooting
I did not do the replacement as it was under warranty. They removed the upper part of the fuse box on the drivers side. There is some circuity in the fuse block and the relay that is pictured in the schematic is actually solid state and not user serviceable. It is inside the fuse block. good news it its not super expensive to replace -
Factory towing mirrors not folding

I am having a heck of a time with my dealer not addressing the intermittent loss of the ability to fold my factory towing mirrors on my NHT truck. I know this has been addressed before and other dealers have actually fixed them, is there any TSBs or anything else I can use to address this annoyance? I have a video of the passenger side not folding, but a video is not verification of a fault according to my dealer. Thanks in advance.

Securing scuba tanks in bed
Lamby66 replied to Robopie's topic in SCUBA divers of GM-Trucks's Scuba Talk
i place mine against the front wall and then block them off with my totes. If I am only transporting tanks, so to get them filled, I use a rack made from pool noodles and rope near the gate. -
Madcow, this is not for me. I was helping others modify the lighting control circuits. My mods work perfectly. My next mod will be a timer circuit added to my cargo light mod. Sent from my SM-N950U using Tapatalk

His fee is 200 for what would cost about $12 in parts and about an hour of time. Sent from my SM-N950U using Tapatalk

This is why I built the circuit I did. Launching duck boats at the butt crack of early and driving in campsites. My foglights turn off if the headlights are not on. The circuit I made for if you changed to X4-23 would work pretty sweet too. Foglights always on unless I turn them off. Sent from my SM-N950U using Tapatalk

I think X4-7 is data looking at the circuit. I think it controls the light control module. I dont think that will work for you. You can check X4-23 out of park a d this should go logic low (it disables the adjustable pedals when you are driving) X5-22 with X4-23 and you should then have fog lights when ever the truck is not in park.. the isolation relay still would work the same.
