  1. Any opinions on putting a better quality tire on these vehicles? I have 2016 Z71 Tahoe with buffetting. Dealer RFB the stock tires which seemed to help, but, not eliminate the issue. Slight pressure sensation still there. I am contemplating putting on BFG KO2's or even Nitto Terra Grappler G2's that might help absorb some of the bumps better? Or, would the heavier tire with thicker sidewalls make the ride quality even stiffer and introduce more buffetting? Just not really sure which way to go here. Thanks.
  2. Any thoughts on why some of the vehicles exhibit the booming/buffeting and others do not? We have a 2016 Cadillac Escalade with no issues whatsoever. Contrary to that, we also have a 2016 Z71 Tahoe (my daily driver) which has both the booming and buffeting and has now been in the shop for a month..
  3. That's good to hear, thanks for passing along. Just curious how the updated body mounts would eliminate the cabin pressure issues?
  4. Hate to be the bearer of bad news, but, my 2016 Z71 Tahoe has a build date of 8/16 and I'm having buffeting issues... they did a road force balance of my tires and had to end up replacing 1 that wouldn't come into spec. It seemed to help but not completely resolve the issue. I'm taking it back in to see what else they can do.
  5. Does anyone know where to find the build date of the vehicle? I looked on the tire placard on the door and didn't see anything.
  6. David - are you having the same pressure sensation in the cabin with headaches?
  7. Ok thanks for the info. I will pass along to the dealer. I really hope this helps. I can't stand the pressure in my ears/head!
  8. ^ Generally, yes. Although hard to pinpoint exactly since I've only owned the truck for a few days now. The pressure and headaches are bad though. What a nightmare. Is there a fix for this? Does RFB help or the exhaust replacement others have mentioned?
  9. All , i just purchased a brand new 2016 Z71 Tahoe and am getting some serious ear pressure while driving. I don't necessarily hear any noises (vibrations, etc) but feel the pressure in my ears which is leading to headaches. Am dropping off the Tahoe tonight to the dealer and of course Service Manager told he hasn't heard of this issue. Will/have these service bulletins release by GM that are referenced above fix the ear pressure issue? Or just targeting the vibrations and etc.? Any input would be appreciated.
