  1. I found it funny when buying my 17 that the all terrain came with black mirror caps but the much cheaper elevation edition came with color matched mirror caps. Not that I am complaining the black ones look just fine with the dark blue. Just glad it isnt chrome. The one thing that I dislike on the truck is the tail lights on my slt. Only thing on the truck with chrome all over them... I will get a current pic of my truck and throw on here sometime, Its still stock except for debadging and a few other little things.
  2. Simple it makes their service dept. more money for people paying to have tires rotated by them because of this.
  3. I know they are there on my 17 sierra, pretty easy to see them thru the grille.
  4. So you put 16 headlights in a 14? Can you point me to a thread that on what all is involved to do this???
  5. You go to the tire pressure screen on the gauge cluster and hold in the check mark with the truck not started with key in run position. Truck will honk twice and say you are in tpms learning mode. You then start with the driver front tire, place the tool next to the valve stem and press button on tool. Truck will honk once that it has recognized it. Then move to the passenger front and activate tool again move to passenger rear when it honks repeat and then move to driver rear. This info is also in your owners manual
  6. You sir are correct! Realized it when I tinkered with mine a little more last weekend but couldnt remember my password to get on and correct it on my ipad....
  7. By adjusting the headlight housing. I stole this pic off the interwebz but see the holes thru the upper shroud behind both headlights? If you look down thru them there is a phillips head screw that these give access to. I believe turning counter clockwise raises the beam. Dont go to much though or you will blind drivers going the opposite way. I am going to raise mine just a hair more and make sure I have them level with one another and be done. The low beams are giving me much better down road distance and I have not been flashed a single time for to bright of lights.
  8. I think its funny how many Sierra owners are on here bitching when the Sierra headlights are the highest rated at acceptable in the article.
  9. I know my 17's all terrains led lights are much better then my 06 dmax were especially on high beams. I am still adjusting them to get the cutoff line right where I want it since it was set to low for country driving from the factory. Also they are leaps and bounds better than my dads 15 sierra its headlights are probably the worst of any newer vehicle I have ever driven.
  10. Heres my new truck picked it up a week and a half ago. 6.2L SLT standard bed So far I love it except it shows dust horribly and the county chipped my road literally the day I picked it up... Should get better once all the farmers get done taking out crops and we get a couple rains on the new rock on the road.
