A/C Condenser
mattpest replied to thewhitestallion's topic in 2014-2018 Silverado & Sierra Troubleshooting
I'm 6,000 miles away from my warranty expiring in my 2016 Silverado. I haven't had issues with my condenser, but I want them to put in a new one and take care of as many potential issues as possible before my warranty goes out. Think they'll change it? -
Here's some pics after my install. I decided to Vinyl match the bowtie, but found out it's tough to match Iridescent Pearl Tricoat with vinyl (just a little off currently). I bought a paint match kit online for $60 yesterday and hoping it gets the job done. If not, I'm just flushing money away my truck accessories place said it runs ~$200 for them to do it that color like dealerships have them. Here's to trying to take short cuts...

Personally, I didn't like the Philips. The light was whiter, but not brighter since there are no LED pieces on the distal tip in the bulb. I ordered the JDM white LED lights and love them for reverse lights. I can see so much farther and behind and around the sides backing up. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND USING THE JDM BULBS!! For bed lighting, I ended up just using the Phillips bulbs since I already bought them and didn't want to piss the money away. I don't use that overhead lamp much, so the Phillips work well enough. The Phillips license plates lights look good too. -
