GoBlue2014LT replied to wowens79's topic in 2020-2024 Silverado HD & Sierra HD
I drove by the Flint GM plant last weekend and there hundreds if not thousands of them on the lot. I saw them driving on the highway so was not able to snap a picture but I couldn’t believe how many there were. Excited to see one close up even though I just bought a 2019 F250 Here a some pics from google maps, thought it was pretty cool: Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk -
Squeak went away with a new lower ball joint but it seems to be starting a similar squeak again after about a year Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

I got an aftermarket backup camera and need to route a wire from inside the cab to the license plate. What is the best way to route the wire out of the cab? Is there a plug somewhere in the cab that can get under the truck? Thanks! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Just installed them and it was pretty quick/simple and plug and play. Pretty happy with them for only $175. Haven’t driven yet to see if they shake at all. I did install the 4th stud. Couple pics of the mirrors installed on dirty truck. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

I also have a 2014 with he basic DL8 and yesterday purchased Part Number: TRMRP00012 form 1A auto. I am thinking (hoping) these are plug and play DL8 replacement since they are just power adjusting and heated. I would have loved to get all the lights to work but it was a difference of about $175 plug and play basic tow mirrors or upwards of $600-$1000 and a lot of work for full light functioning tow mirrors since it’s a 2014. I can’t seem to find the aluminum upper ca’s. Can I replace them with the steel ones and keep the aluminum lowers? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

I think there may be two different issues. I hear a bit of a grind/pop at times when turning which I have to assume is the lower ball joint that I think is going. The other is the squeak you can hear in the video which I mostly hear when going when going over bumps or when there would be any suspension up and down movement (going straight or turning) Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

I am pretty sure that I do have a bad ball joint that needs replacing, but I was not thinking the squeak was coming from that. I plan on replacing all ball joints in the next couple weeks so we will see if that clears up the squeak. Thanks! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

https://youtu.be/j-CHlsvMuoc Front end is squeaking. Not sure what it is. Is there something wrong with the coil over/ strut? Thanks! 2014 Silverado 1500. 75k miles. 2.5 inch motofab level installed about 6k miles ago. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
