  1. Figured it was better to revive this thread. Here's my attempt at it. I'm undecided on the spacing. I wish I could do 5 but the outer 2 would not be convenient to mount. Thoughts?
  2. Completed my flex fuel conversion recently. I installed the GM OE sensor and had BB tune it. Install was extremely easy. I started off with a 1/4 to verify operation, and currently have about a 3/4 tank of e85. The truck already feels so much more responsive. E85 combined with BB ecm and tcm tune is a perfect combo! Total cost of conversion (not including BB AutoCal) was about $75. Gas mileage is down between 16.5/17, but with e85 at $1.99 and 89oct at $2.35 around me, so it is slightly cheaper to run e85. I would highly recommend it!

  4. Finally pulled the front bowtie to plastidip the chrome trim black. Now it matches the tailgate bowtie. I had originally dipped it while still on the truck but wasn't able to peel a clean edge on the outer part of the chrome trim. Removing the front bowtie was way easier than I previously thought. Also, looking at ordering a BB autocal and airaid mit tonight. Eventually I would like to convert to E85 but that will have to wait. Can anyone confirm if BB can unlock the E85 tables?
  5. I just finished installing the Gen5diy harness to keep the drl's on when turn signals are activated. It looks much better now and there is a big gap between drl's and turn signals so I don't think safety is affected. The build quality of the harness is top notch. Looks OEM. Installation was a breeze.
  6. I installed a Borla GMPP Sport muffler soon after getting my '16 5.3L. It was still really quiet with the stock flapper and resonator. I had the resonator deleted today and clamped the flapper open. Sounds great with no drone and no chopper noise. Its still quiet while cruising but really growls when accelerating. My truck finally sounds like a v8 truck!
