  1. Well, you couldn't pay me to drive a first gen of a new style. I'd go with a 17 for sure.
  2. I've read about people not liking mobile 1 filters too, so where does that leave us? 2 guys, reading things on the net, so it much be true right? Really, what are the chances of 3 oil filters in a row leaking? IN A ROW at different points in time during 13,000 miles?? That is enough to know it's something else. Whether that's over tighting the filter or something else, who knows. If they were terrible filters, I highly doubt that every damn gm dealer would continue to use them and risk all sorts of claims against their lube department. It's a complete non issue.
  3. Hahaha... No kidding right? It's user error but im gonna blame shitty filters lol
  4. Umm sure man.... I've never seen a leaky delco filter and we do 20 changes a day at our work. You got something else going on.
  5. The issue is, you guys think every single thing that can possibly go wrong with your vehicles is automatically covered by warranty. We know nothing of what the op does to the trick etc and it could very well be defective chrome.... Or it could be actual wear and tear. He gets a big of curb rash/chips and it just eats away at the chrome until is starts coming off.... Normal wear and tear. As for the seat, same thing. No idea what the real issue is... And yet, everyone except rational guy a few posts above is "it's warranty" lol
  6. I have a 17 and it took about 3 days to drain it. I threw that little pice of crap in the garbage and ordered a BB tune the next day.
  7. Gezus guys lol did no one look at the link of the conversion?http://www.gm-trucks.com/forums/topic/198827-2017-hd-hood-conversion/page-1 Yes this fit on a 16 gmc, mine is a 17 same thing... it does not fot a Chevy. Just look at the link and everything fits fine. Air box and all.
  8. not according to us, it is functional, thats it, look at the link I provided, I just installed it a few weeks ago.. The stock hood dips in .5 inches from sides to middle dip, the HD hood is 1.5" from lowest point in the middle to the top of the scoop. It literally adds 1" to the height of the hood. The view isn't obstructed at all, you literally loose 1" if view.... 1 inch man. The vent can easily be washed out, it has a rubber grommet on the inside so you could pressure wash the inside of the scoop if you want and no water will get to the intake. Take a look at the link in my previous post, you'll see how it works. It's actually quite well thought out.
  9. http://www.gm-trucks.com/forums/topic/198827-2017-hd-hood-conversion/page-1 Shows the internal structure. No water can't get into the intake, it has a drain built in and although it's routed weird because of the motor, it works extremely well. Although mine is green, you get the idea.
  10. Yes it's functional, goes straight into the air box. I personally like them enough that I bought one for my 17 sierra and did a swap. I get compliments all like crazy. Each to their own.
  11. Is it wireless? I can't see this doing so well in Canadian winter but it's a cool device! I'm gonna have to check out my coat at work tomorrow. I'd love to have this on my truck.
