  1. The time has come to sell my truck to start a new build. I'm the original owner, truck is in excellent shape inside and out and has absolutely no issues. It's an LTZ with all the features besides sunroof. Built right and ready to be enjoyed by its new owner. Truck has never been wrecked, never abused, never used as a truck, only mark on the carfax is some hail damage a year or so ago but it was completely fixed by one of the best pdr guys in the midwest. No paint work whatsoever and no rust. Interior clean even the driver's seat as you can see in the pics and everything works on the truck. 51,300 miles (daily driver, will go up only about 5 miles a day) 5.3 with 6 speed trans King 3.0 remote reservoir front shocks King 2.5 remote reservoir rear shocks Cognito ball joint upper control arms (installed less than 1000 miles ago to replace uniball setup that had some wear) SDHQ front skidplate Method 17" wheels Toyo R/T 295/70R17 less than 1000 miles Matching Method/Toyo spare under bed AFE side exit exhaust Engine is all stock never tuned Range AFM module (not a tune) Catch can I have everything from when I bought it new including the window sticker and books as well as the second set of keys and remote. Truck needs nothing but someone to keep enjoying it. Asking $35,000 obo
  2. Still no rub with 295's and 0 offset here...I've been checking but don't see even a scuff on the carpet and I have worked the suspension somewhat on some rough country back roads. Don't even get a rub backing out of the driveway at full lock. I feel like these trucks must be slightly different truck to truck. I was extremely concerned about rub and I would be pissed if it rubbed even backing up at full lock but I'm very surprised I have none that I can see for now.

  4. No spacers or drop. I'm ok with the cv angles but will keep an eye on it. I guess it would be the right time to install lower ball joints but the spindle doesn't have to come off to install any of this. I did the upper arms with the factory struts out then the kings slid right in after the arms were on.
  5. Nope just the upper is necessary unless you go full mid travel which pushes track width out in the front but that replaces both upper and lower arms. Angles still look great on the lower arm and the truck only has 3500 miles on it.

  9. Got the truck all cleaned up today and took some driveway pics. I'll try to find the time to actually take it somewhere and get good pics but this will do for now. Skid plate pics as requested below. I also got my spare mounted under the bed in the factory location. Since the hub bore on the Methods is larger than the factory wheel I made a steel plate to slide over the hanger and support the whole hub. Lined the wheel side with adhesive backed uhmw film so it doesn't scratch the wheel. Skid plate pics. Sorry for the insanely long post!
  10. Sure thing. I waited to build it until I thought the weather was over and of course it snowed Monday. So it's now going to be 70 degrees Saturday so I'll wash it and get some good pics. The skid plate lip doesn't stick out, you are just seeing the thickness of the plate because it is straight and the bumper angles back. It fits to the same flat as the factory plastic and chrome piece. I'll get some pictures to show, it's a clean fit. I think Phoshzl posted a thread about the skid plate with some good pics and there's some good shots on SDHQ's website that shows it better. You could definitely get away with one of those brackets mounted to the skid! I love the look of the skid and I think you could position a front plate to still look good with it.
  11. Although not true off-roading I did get a chance to drive some country roads over the weekend. Hit up some dirt and gravel roads that are very rough and broken up and are usually 30mph and less. Blew through these things at speeds up over 50mph and the Kings soaked up absolutely everything like the road was freshly paved. These shocks have greatly exceeded my expectations by a mile. My wife was riding with and she was literally laughing in the passenger seat saying "this is crazy!" and she drives these roads often since it's out by her parents land. I second this. Purchased my methods and r/t's from my local 4wheelparts and had a great experience. I went back and had them do my alignment after I installed everything and they also did a great job on that. So I quoted my wheel and tire package a few places including the online guys a lot of people use and not only did 4wheelparts beat everyone's price, they are local so if any problems come up I'm dealing with actual people 15 min away.
  12. This is basically how the 3.0's came right out of the box. I ended up adding 1 full turn for CV axle to shock clearance (since the adjusters are on the bottom on the 3.0's) and the height turned out great. Instructions said something crazy like 2.5 or 3 turns = 1" ride height change so I didn't do much with my single turn.
