  1. I would Love to see a All Terrain HD and 2500HD/3500HD Gas to 427 LS1 32V 6.2L engine that has 36 gal tank along with 8 to 10 speed transmissions with 12" or 11.5" rear end axle bigger axle as long some front bigger thicker CV join axle under 4x4 that is under 3.73 gear with some independence rear double 5 inch wide by 1 and 1/2 coil spring with double 3 inch Fox shocks with resrves suspension system doing 100MPH right at 2,000RPM at east along with 30,000 lbs with 1 inch thick airbags system that can adjust height stress from 2 and half to 6 inch on a 285/65/20 tire and rim ratio. Bigger control lower and upper arms that are 5 inch wide and 2 and half thick and tie rods and links side of 1 inch thick you know Something more heavier duty as a tank that doesn't quit on us. Something more Manley
  2. Is there any possible way to have the cargo lights up while putting it in reverse? The tail light comes on but not the bright white light on top as on the cargo. But breaking taillights lit up does works. I would love to see my mirror lighted up as well while going backwards. Kinda lame that we don't have a functions to be a setting on our stereo system to be able to do what kind of lighting system programs on our trucks.
  3. What were GM thinking as for a 360/380 GMC 2500HD 4x4 6.0L from the past to 2016 definitely a poor engineer design of a motor you could surely get better mpg on that motor. Should have been a 384/402 engine to get 13 mpg from the same headers that came with the truck out of that 6.0L. Stronger motor vs a 360 16V but why does it burn cleaner and save more fuel for the the amount of power from an engine? Unreal for me on a 4.10. This tell you that much of how of gas GM motors as powerful they are with gears low ratio at a high RPM. Although we wouldn't know how much towing of weight that it can't do. Any added modification could improve it ability. This tell you that a 360 on 4.10 vs a 2500HD 6.6L on 3.73 but the axle gears are larger in the wheel diameter of a dana of gears from that 10.5 axle to 11.5 to tow the same amount of weight from the drivers manual out of both 2500HD? I am betting that 6.6L surely can tow another 8,000 more weight compare to the 6.0L as far is pulling and towing and def save you 16 to 19 mpg vs that poor 6.0L high RPM. Even adding improved stronger leaf springs and suppression system. When you buy a truck remember lets not rely on manufactured engines. Go build a new engine on it some great body-styles. My dream is to have a good all around motor. A 427 LS1 32V 6.2L gas that gets 24/25 MPG on a 6 speed 4.10 gears maybe 3.73 is 28mpg? I would love to have an 8 speed tranny that is able to reach a higher speed on the highways and running a 11.5 axle on a 4.10. But a lot of towing ability for any reason. Maybe it will out preform any duramax as long as you take care of it and change oils on time and by 7,000 miles vs on all units on the trucks every 55,000 miles including the steering fluid, breaks, axle gears, transfer case and tranny just as much saving on fuels. To me the 3.73 is an all good around gears as long as you got a bigger engine you could pull lot more if under towing. If you are under from a large enough tires and rims the 20 to 18 inch that are using tires is the 285/60/18 and 285/55/20 it just perfect for fuel millage and towing ability. A lot of times the the amount of gas 360 is already under a large RPM and the teq vs pulling under a huge stress. For a 360 should have been 11.5 axle with 3.73 gears for any reason. Reason it all depends on the size of the equipments.
  4. Found the block for the Hellwig Not sure of these fit but I am getting there. https://www.jegs.com/i/Hellwig/207/61999/10002/-1?CAWELAID=1710550499&CAGPSPN=pla&CAAGID=15769068431&CATCI=pla-224363292071&catargetid=230006180037475546&cadevice=c&gclid=CjwKCAjworfdBRA7EiwAKX9HeJZN1DnL5dk-_n2CKO9IYmPhYBB8EY7QVfXP6_xOAK8hgvSn1wzB2RoCjf8QAvD_BwE
  5. As looking around I notice the between the Hellwig Leaf Helper Springs Stabilizer LP-3512 vs the Superspring Helper springs from things is a roller shackle on the super spring leaf for self adjustments to roll around as it spring around from it tension. Although I wish it was little thicker and wider on the end of the spring leaf handle loader this is more of a bow effects but makes it looks little more weaker point in the flexibility movement as far for twisting play. If the ends are little thicker and connect the bolts curls into the leaf spring would make a better system. Other than this claims to be 5,000 lbs idk To me maybe 3,000 at the most. One site said the SA13 is 3000 The Hellwig product is 3,500lbs of payloads weights which the u bolts that are connect to the leaf spring without any rollers. To me looks kinda a little dangerous just a holding on bow effect clamps onto the leaf spring. The u bolts looks small and little weak to me. I could buy a bigger U bolts and add a roller bolts application for the bottom of the stock leaf springs or put a block under the leaf spring to prevents any moments or disconnect or loss possibility from the leaf spring to come apart. I wouldn't risk it. The price between the two is little off. Seam to me that the Hellwig is more expensive than this Superspring. They both need a mounting brackets kits for the 2500HD and the 3500HD gas or diesel truck. Hellwig Mounting Kit 25312 Superspring Mounting Kit MXKT Here are the list of both products on website https://www.supersprings.com/application-guide/ http://www.hellwigproducts.com/lookup/index.php?action=category&Model=Sierra+2500+HD&Year=2016&Make=GMC
  6. Thanks for the information but I got it fix at another dealership took me 5 dealership to really get it to fix it. But it also is off by 1/16 of a inch with or without gas. It barely moves on a 36 gal tank by an 1/16. These trucks are 2500HD and can handle a lot more weights than the 1500. But it was way off. The adjustment for the heights were out of place. The left side was off by 1 and half inch off when I bought the truck and nearly a half inch in the back end on the driver side. The driver side were set for 2 wheel stock non 4x4 for the height adjustments. There are 3 adjustments inducing the alignment adjustments. One of the dealership did move the front end up by half of a inch disappointing and some very stupid people out there and that is not complete balanced and not even rotated the tire talk about lazy for all 10 hour works. And plus they did fix the clutch when my AC unit went out after 3,000 miles on it and didn't test for leaks and replace the the valve pressure sensor. And the AC compressor is also weak as well as my ac unit was going out. So later on in the future I am going to enlarge that AC unit on this 2500HD truck. Anyway went to the other dealership and beg them to fix it but they fixes Chevy and it a Chevy dealership. so they went in and fix it told me they was off by 1 inch and sure enough they fix the entire truck adjustment. It was taller by half of a inch than before when having the truck. Now they are all balanced but off by 1/16 on both side back and front. I nearly went out of gas to ensure it not the gas. So when added full thank of gas i increased to another 1/16 of an inch and the front barely goes in between that 1/16 of a inch. Very ridiculous. There are so many trucks out on the dealerships parking lots there that are not well adjusted. Some are 40 inch in the front some are 39 and the 2 wheel drives are 39 to 38. Other are 41 to 43 inches it doesn't even matter what model it was. From Z71 to Z71Offroad to High Country to SLE to SLT and LT and LE and some Texas editions that I have looked at and some All Terrain my fav as it a 8 speed to Denali. Other are tilted to the side to the left others are right too. Talk about Insane watch out what you buy out there. Some are well balanced and leveled. Others are leveled from front to back. Other I found sometime are off by 1/16 and other half inches and and found 1 that was off by 1 inch on the front and back end was leveled. Some are just back end was off and some are like mine the driver side is off.
  7. Hello How it going? I wanted post and ask some questions as along the way and see if I am crazy enough to upgrade and discuss about modifying a stock GMC 2016 4x4 2500HD 6.0L Gas suspension system. The truck needed a nice smooth riding stability control system on it's suspension system and along it needed to takes more weight load carrying capacity controls from major loads when towing big loads from over hauling trailers. Plus even on it's no-loads capacity as well when you need to drive on a everyday needs in all conditions from all driving ability and keep safe from going out of control from all major issues on the roads conditions on a stock 2500HD/3500HD, I can tell things are getting out of control as conditions are getting worsts beyond our controls when dealing with a stock HD trucks suspension system on a bad roads conditions. Anyway I wanted to upgrade this truck to improve the truck without spending to much money but enough for the truck to drive better than possible so here some ideas and list of parts of modifications that I have studied and thought about thought I post something asked and shared and discuss as asking some ideas for some upgrades. Thanks for helping guys as I need some helps. So far I already installed a rear Hellwig Big Wig Sway bar the model # is 7270 and have it on the medium setting on the links holes for the sway bars as it on the #2 holes. The center hole is considered is medium setting. The far out as #1 hole is the lose setting and far back to the axle #3 hole is tighter setting for the sway bar settings. And I have to say I already feel a huge improvements to the rear suspension by adding a rear sway bar. I can tell by it does prevents the waving as rocking side to side when driving into a drive ways or pulling into a intersections or running over pot holes or curbs or jumping over a railways or hills and some major improvements on things like those quadruple humps and ripples as dips on the road that make your whole truck shake everywhere and wobbling back and forth from going over on those melted asphalt from the roads and highways as it swerves out of control at a high speed and including hauling something that makes it bounce everywhere even to lose control on a empty bed. Plus the improvements over driving into by turning fast and pilling out or in front of the traffic as keeping the truck lock down on the road to pull in and it enforce it from leaning over, keeping the truck from waving over as swerving out of control from rocking by it side. And the sway bar does improve towing. It help you to control your trailer from losing out of control from a dodge moments on cars and winds and other moments to prevent your trailer from wobbling on a highways. Keep the back end stable as twisting the roll body of the truck especially pillingout on a burn out. it been been lot of flooding in Texas lately and I need to spray paint it black and painted the u bolts as well as keeping it from rusting including the axle drive staff joint. Rust is a disease to metal. I only have this 3 months of use of this Hellwig and this truck has 9,786 miles on it. Now the questions is do I needed to go ahead and buy the front sway bar? And put a bigger heavier duty links as well that hooks on to the front sway bars? I don't know what size the is the original stock front sway bars as in inches from as American scale, so far, I founded out the size it is 1.250 of a inch? Is that 1 inch and 3/8 in size? or is that 1 and half of a inch? And the links that came with the truck looks little poor. Looks like it needed to be on a 1500 models trucks and asking for a bigger set of links to control the front of the sway bars on the 2500HD front end suspension. But anyway the Hellwig has a 1 and 1/2 of a inch in thickness of the sway bar and if the the truck stock sway bars is the same size then I don't need to get it it be a waste of money by having the same size bars. I don't know if that make anything big of a different but maybe it will in tightness of a sway bars as for front suspension system if it little bigger right? Anyway here are the list of the modifications upgrades for the suspension system packages that are listed for a smooth ride with major medium payloads capability. Feel free to post some idea of some more modifications suspension system for a stock GMC /Chevy 4x4 2500HD / 3500HD 2014 to 2019. Hellwig Rear Sway Bar 7270.......Weight: 8,000lbs Hellwig Front Sway Bar 7716......Weight: 5,000lbs Hellwig Leaf Helper Springs Stabilizer LP-3512.....Weight: 3500lbs Leaf Spring Shocks Absorbed Sulastic Shackle For Axle SA-06...Non-affect load carrying capacity BDS NX2 Single Steering Stabilizer with Mounting Bracket Kit.....Get Boot Cover Protection PPE Stage 3 Tie Rod Assemblies #158031511.....Has Larger Ball Joints and Staff SuperSpring Front Sumo Spring SSF-202-54......Weight: 2000lbs SuperSpring Rear Sumo Spring SSR-203-40-2....Weight: 2600lbs Max at 80% 3000lbs G2 GM 10.5" 14 Bolt Rear Brute Ball Milled Aluminum Differential Axle Cover.....Amsoil 95W-140 Gear Oil Fox Shocks 2.5 Reservoir Front and Rear. These are my upgrades for a medium high performance stabilizer for the truck suspension system modifications. As for tires and rims I would love to have a 20 inch rims with 285/65/20 tires Or 18 inch rims with 285/70/18 tires one day. This should improves the overalls of the trucks capability right? Dream engine on this truck is LS1 427 32V 6.2L 25MPG on this 2500HD 4.10 gear ratio with the twin as y air filter intake system with dual exhaust .... Goals <3.. I wish I could afford this and to put a 8 speed tranny on it.
  8. Hello I have 6,370 miles on a GMC 2016 2500HD gas 6.0L 4X4 truck and when I bought the truck I notice I had a alignment issue. I did had the dealership to fix the problems and a steering lose problems. They have fix the steering issue. But they didn't fix my alignment I had to go in and try to fix it myself. But I found out it was my suspension the whole time too. I notice the driver side is 1 inch lower then the passenger side. And the passenger side Is a 1 inch taller from the wheel. So it leaning over by looking at the truck So sometime when I was driving around I even hear a popping sound from the floorboard from making a full right turn when I hit a bump real hard or going into a bumpy drive way or pulling in to from a right hard trun from 4 way intersection or some residential from a dip it make a sound. When I went to the dealer ship the guy told me that is normal and can't even find any issue. Talk about lazy boring, argument oxy moron Name John thinking I was born yesterday. He wouldn't look at me in the eyes and to tell me or ask me anything. I hate that. He doesn't want to work with me and I hate talking to people that work at front the desk. Yeah right. Very odd for a guy to be telling me that.. The truck does leaning over to the left and make popping sound when hitting a bump making a full right turn. I did try to do some left turns real hard from hitting a bump I hear nothing from that side it took a bump like a champ. Can anyone help me how to fix this issue? Do I need a 2 inch lift? It doesn't feel right how can I fix this issue? Do I need a new kit? New arms? or maybe the manufactured put the wrong lift on the left side? It bugging me bad I just bought the truck and I already feel like I got a pieces of junk and got me frustrated. Like here we go again I have to deal with a junk for the rest of my life. So anyway can someone help me out? Any help will be much appreciated.
  9. As I still doing my research. I have the Key system that you are able to open the door by entering the Key in the door handle if you happens to have a keyless system as you don't used a key on the door. Then you can add the remote start to the BCM with the Fobs with this # 22997089 or 91. But if you just have a regular truck lock and key with remote you won't be able to add one from this packages. You would need the BCM to be put in your truck as replace the old regular remote key system. This BCM system doesn't have a input harness to the remote start system that connect to the wires of your start key system in the dash to the stearing wheel as with or with out the Onstar. This is what I know so far
  10. Yeah it basic tuck the real world saying. I guess it is wish it said it is WT. Kind of lame a work truck with no remote start. Think about it. It out in the cold all the time. Horst environment and different applications life style and ways of needed a truck for. And warming up that motor for a greater load, Who want to sit in a truck being all cold LOL. Who in the right mind would let some fancier model for a 50 $ cheap technology go to waste. Blows my mind with all the electronics out there that could improves sales.
  11. Oh BTW I don't have that hood sensor wire on my latch just to let you know
  12. Ok guys I found out.. If you have a AQQ remote system it will just work as keyless system. You would need a AM1 - AP8 or AQP8 in your RPO. Another word you would need a LT/LTZ SLE or SLT ECU remote module system. I heard one guy said you would have to plug in the fuse and add few wires to the remote command module it order for it to work. I don't know what part number that would be. But I just wasted 190$ plus 60 bucks for programing my remote I thought they knew what they were doing. Pretty much disappointed. I hope I can return the remote with the latch packages back to this guy on ebay If you have a regular Sierra or a Chevy 2500HD or 1500 it has no start remote. Now if you had it order from the manufacturer with the remote packages it will add that. You can add it on the truck but you would need to contact the manufacturer from GM they could provide the little computer for the Keyless remote entry with start. Don't be fooled by the www.gm. owner center they will just give you a FOB remote with no RCU. So you are better off going to Best Buy or some car Audio place to add in a Viper with a remote. They have the diagram to add a remote start and better car/tuck alarm system. Yes that is correct. But Also the wire does tell the remote system to fail when the hood was pop open from being started. So you won't be robed. I thought it was a pulley that let you remotely pop open they got that motor for that latch it on ebay it the same way for that unlock tailgate. Pretty much it. Thanks guys. I took my truck back up there at the dealership to have my alignment fix this is my 2nd time hopefully they fix it only got 481 miles on it. it pulls to the left real bad
  13. That strange. The dealership did offer me before I bought the truck and then I changed my mind that I wanted one, so I order a remote that have a start button and this came with this package with a remote latch. But then they told me 60 bucks from the dealership to program the remote. But if I wanted a latch remote put on. Then it was cost me another 100 bucks it just a harness for the remote command in the dash does automatically connected. What the guy told me. It just a program that it have inside the remote command computer and it does the rest. But i am going to see whats up tomorrow. And find out if i can get the remote start on this truck. I hope I could. Would be retarded that you can't. My GM center https://my.gmc.com/homeask if i wanted to buy a remote start for it too and have the dealer ship put it on for a 250 bucks. This truck is just a regular sierra 2500 HD with the trailer package and convenience packages w/ 17 inch rims and remote keyless lock and key with a tail gate lock and key and does have a back cam. Does that mean I got a WT?
  14. The Viper are good they are long range they can go up to 1 mile. The factory can received up to 300 feet or little less or little more depend of things in the way or a big hill. My dad has this Viper work great but you would need to get a harness for your model. if you got a Onstar system. Then you would need a harness for that as well. If you want to add more it got 4 more add on function you can look up add on remote for windows, hood, light, any function that you want to connect to. Can any if you guys could provide some help and some information? I've bought a new 2016 GMC 2500HD 4x4 Crew Cab truck 3 weeks ago and it does got the remote keyless and the tailgate lock too. As reading my manual I saw the remote start and my remote doesn't have one. So i went to bought a pair of a remote and I happens to stumble to this tread. It should have been a two chrome remote but I ended up with this packages that came with two black remote with a electronic hood latch that is able to use for your remote lock in key. Can I installed this electronic hood latch on my 2500HD? The latch look the same. But would I need a wire or harness to install this to my system on my truck? Does it already have one installed? I just need to plug it in? Does anyone know the parts number for the wire harness? Much help would be gladly appreciate Thanks I should have gone to this place to buy a remote. http://www.northcoastkeyless.com/2016-gmc-sierra-keyless-entry-remote-fob-programming-instructions/
