  1. I had a Jeep Wrangler with the same problem. After two failed fixes, replacing the brake booster was also the solution for that.
  2. I’ll probably keep my 2016 Silverado for another year or so. At that point I’ll consider all options. I do like the new Ram quite a bit. The fact that the switchgear for the windows is the same as it was in my 2010 is kind of annoying, but overall I like the truck. I’ve also owned three Rams with the 5.7, and I really like that engine. It blows my 5.3 out of the water, and a Ram with one is way cheaper than a comparably equipped Chevy with the 6.2.
  3. I got new wheels and tires installed today. 20x9 Level 8 Trackers with 275/60R20 Pathfinder AT tires.
  4. I second that question. Also, did you happen to snap a picture with the chrome skid plate removed? I’m interested to see what it would look like if I just took it off.
  5. In general I think any chrome is too much. The only chrome on my truck is the bumper filler and the outline of the bow tie on the grille, and I’m looking for ways to get rid of those. With that said, I think the Denali is well done. It’s a lot of chrome, but the design of it still looks tasteful. Usually chrome looks cheap to me, but the Denali manages to make it look upscale. I likely wouldn’t buy a Denali because that entails paying for a bunch of stuff I don’t care about, but I do think they’re good looking trucks.
  6. I’ve had that happen as well. I was able to reuse the plastic retaining thingamajigger, but I imagine it’ll require a bolt at some point.
  7. I got my Predator 2 in today and hooked it up to my 2016 5.3L Z71. I used the 87 octane tune and increased the throttle boost by 10%...man, what a difference. I don’t know that there is a noticeable increase in power, but the throttle response is worlds better. Before I’m harangued for going with the non-customizable option...that was a conscious choice. The barrier to entry in that world (both in cost and hassle) is high enough that I know my cheap/lazy self would never follow through with it. Might as well save the $50 over the I3. I’ll probably play with it a little more as time goes on, but for now I am quite happy with the purchase.
  8. My 2016 had this intake and Flowmasters installed when I bought it. It’s a great sounding combo, and that plexiglass lid is really cool looking.
  9. I use the “not an ashtray” to store loose change. I hate having change in my pocket so I throw it in there.
  10. A cowboy hat after midnight usually means somebody has had too much fun.
  11. I suppose I’m in the minority here for causally enjoying the interface GM provides. It’s much better than my previous 2913 Jeep, my wife’s previous 2013 Ford Edge, or her current 2015 Durango. I find the GM software to be the most intuitive, reliable, and best looking.
  12. I generally hate all chrome, but that is a good looking truck.
  13. Man...I didn't know these existed. Got me all excited, then I realized you can't seem to get them for 20" wheels.
  14. The Ford Flex was also the first thing that came to mind to me as well, but I like that look a lot. I think it makes the truck look almost limo like.
