  1. Yea sadly they told me today that ETA on the new part would be here around May 15th so 2 months from now..... They say you can come get it and drive it but just check fluid levels daily but there's a possibility if it goes out completely it could mess up the turbo...
  2. I have a 2022 Silverado 1500 with 6,700 miles and has the Duramax in it. Went into the shop for check engine light and coolant smell, dealership called me today and said that the Turbo coolant pump went out and GM has zero stock..... Has anyone else ran into this issue before? I am starting to regret the choice of the Duramax at this point this is the second time it has been into the shop for a check engine light....
  3. Dirk13 I got my truck last April and been waiting for the heated steering wheel and I received the same letter from GM. Does not sound very promising that it will happen anytime soon.
  4. I would think they should but the dealer told me and I quote, " We moved the harness so the wiring was not pinched anymore to let the wire transmit proper signal, and that was the reason for all the check engine lights for the ECM and TCM was the wire was pinched enough to not let the proper signal to transmit through it." To me if a wire is pinched that bad then it should be replaced and not spliced. Am I over thinking this issue?
  5. Thank you, my only concern is still there was a pinched wire that was causing all kinds of issues in this wiring harness. My main question is shouldn't the harness be replaced if there was even "just a pinched wire" to prevent issues down the road from that wire being weakened?
  6. I had to take my 2022 Silverado with the Duramax into the dealership due to check engine light on and they also said there was a recall for the shutters. After they got it into the shop and looked they said in the harness for the shutters a wire was pinched that was causing proper signal for the shutters to open and close. I ask how they fixed the issues and their response was, "We moved the harness to the proper location and moved the wire so it was not pinched and all problems went away." My concern is the wire was pinched now they have moved it to me that has weakened the wire if it was pinched bad enough to not get the proper signal. They claim they did not splice it which personally I am 100% against splices in main wiring harness for a permeant fix especially on a brand new truck. So I wanted to just see if anyone else has ran across this issue yet? I am going to have them show me what harness they moved and verify they did not put a splice in the wire before I take the truck off the lot.
  7. I have a 2022 Silverado 1500 with the 3.0L Duramax in it with less than 1,300 miles on it and has the check engine light on. Called ONSTAR for the codes and it currently has either 11 or 12 codes all relating to the ECM and TCM communication issues. Has anyone else experienced these issues? Dealership can not get me in to look at the truck until next week which is frustrating having a brand new truck with issues already.
  8. I called Onstar for the codes and there are either 11 or 12 of them and all of them have to do with ECM or TCM communication issues.
  9. I have a 22 Silverado with just under 1300 miles on it and check engine light came on and engine cooling fan is running full blast. I called the dealer an scheduled the service dept to look at it and told me to keep driving it would be about a week and half before they could get me in. I looked at my onstar reporting and now it says N222365750 Aero Shutter wiring harness routing contacts shutter and also Diagnose Service Engine Soon Light.. Has anyone experienced the shutter wiring harness issues?
  10. I contacted my local accessory shop and was told they could not get a set of "replica" 20" wheels that would fit the new refresh model but could get a set of 22" rims... I also was told some of the factory 20" chrome wheels off older models wouldn't work on the newer trucks.... what has changed? are they not still 6x5.5 wheels?
  11. I just picked up my new 22 Refresh model last weekend and I noticed when I either nose up to something or back up close to something the seat will vibrate but there is no "beep" and I am unsure if this is a setting turned off on the truck or if that is not a feature any longer.... Any assistance is appreciated on this.
