  1. BBB complaint is likely going to be better then the state as GM doesn't have to respond to the state or the letters. I sent 3 letters and got no response. GM has settled with me And the BBB and they have agreed to replace my 16 with a 17 2500 as a option to option transaction and i just have to pay for any features my current did not have. I am currently in a rental. The field rep is Blowing a rod over paying for it so He is sending a GM engineer to go look at my truck and quote "Fix" My vehicle so i can drive it till my new truck gets here. Dealership is Pissed at the rep and has requested i be kept in rental till new truck arrives. I tell ya it never ceases to amaze me with GM.

I have a lemon law case but the BBB case is taking over UPDATE I left message on the other agent and supervisors phone yesterday stating if i wreck i am not responsible for any injuries death or damage i stated dealership has performed everything they can and they cant do anything else to fix it Therefor i am stuck driving this deathtrap. Recieved call from GM Business Resource Senior Adviser Moments ago. Was told this case has been Raised higher and that the field rep is no longer involved. Was told everything will be handled internally at this point. Was asked what kind of vehicle i ordered to replace this one and stated i ordered a 17 hoping to replace this failed truck(same features). After conversation she asked who the lean holder was and then stated we may be doing a Lean Vin Swap from your current vehicle to new. Was told there is a department that handles this.I also re stated if i wreck or cause damage do to the truck being unsafe i am not responsible. No loaner will be given per dealership till GM request it. I assume i will be given a loaner till my new truck gets here but who knows. I will be getting a answer today or early next week now.(Expedited) I will keep you all informed. I am very nervous about the 17 and how it will steer but i am hoping since they know the 16's have issues they fix them for 17. For those who are having issues Do not hesitate to Lemon law or BBB your vehicle. BBB is what got me in contact with the resource team. Keep pushing and Make GM responsible for our issues. There is NO FIX for our vehicle steering issues. Do not give up.
  3. Welp i have gone to Pick up my 2500 AGAIN dealership claimed truck was fixed and literally 1 minute into my drive home i noticed the truck pulling left AGAIN. If i let go of the wheel it would literally steer you into oncoming traffic. I called dealership and requested manager to ride with me. He was rather defensive at first but after i showed him he quickly said truck is still not right. For the 3 miles i drove even at slow speeds truck would go against the road grade and turn left no matter what. I let the truck almost cross into another car and he quickly said please hold on and get it back. We then took a brand new 16 for a test drive right after mine to verify mine was screwed up. At this point i am advised nothing else can be done all bulletins have been completed and there is nothing to replace. GM field rep who has been continually denying Buyback or replacement is going to dealership tomorrow or next week, Dealership will be notifying field rep that my truck is screwed up and that we verified truck is not right with same exact truck replacement. They are going to push with me for the buyback or replacement. Dealership hopes they dont try trade assist because they would have to sell my truck for retail and with 7 visits on carfax thats impossible so they would eat 7 grand. I am stuck in this deathtrap since There is nothing else they can do. I guess if i get hurt or the truck kills or hurts someone else its not my fault. I notified GM of this aswell. Gm has sole blame for everything at this point so we will see how they act at this point given i have stated that, Unless GM wants another sue against them.
  4. Got a call back from GM resource team. Internal resources have declined ANY assistance including Buy Back,Replace trade assist or even to reimburse me for the month i have not had the truck. Dealership is saying truck is fixed again and is ready guess it will be okay for another few days then act up again. 7 visits now and 30 days out of service. I contacted the GMC customer support line furious and said i want to speak to corporate NOW! I have had a new case generated (Number 5) and am supposed to receive a call from a lead tomorrow morning she claimed that if i have a case they will endorse it and send it to corporate GM. I have also contacted a attorney for a consultation and they said GM is being foolish, he claimed your truck has been a lemon under MD lemon law since the first visit. I am giving GM another attempt to do the right thing or I will peruse action against em. Very sad if you ask me 5 bulletins yet they still wont take responsibility for these trucks. I have purchased 3 new GM vehicles and have been GM loyal but at this point i am ready to cancel the 17 2500 i ordered to replace this 16 POS and go Ford or Dodge HD.
  5. I would start off by calling the Executive office at 1-855-880-1500 The resource team contacted me with the legal team since i filed a BBB complaint against GM And i agree sadly it will take someone crossing a line in order for GM to wake up just like with other issues in the past 10 years.

Update after all the visits in the shop and my safety concerns with the truck the resource team at GM has finally said they are "Working with internal resources to salvage the vehicle" She did not have a answer yet but said maybe by Friday they will have a answer. Just a week ago i was told there doing Nothing. I guess GM is finally realizing they have a issue after all. Will update everyone when i have answers. My advise to those that have these issues is stay on GM don't give up blow there phones up and push them to do the right thing.

  8. Found one thing online I will have the Full Page tomorrow its a long one. Dealer told me its A Pittman arm that was being ordered per TSB part number. PIT5501D is the new code.   9. I am going to the dealership tomorrow since they are closed today and i am getting a copy of it i will post a copy here as soon as i get it tomorrow . Its so new there is nothing online with it yet. And my dealership has had nothing but issues with alignment on these now. How hard is it to make a truck that steers right? Pretty hard apparently.
  10. I have learned through this process that GM will do ANYTHING to make it not there fault. I have dealt with the resource team,Exec office,Senior advisers you name it. Given the fact GM has released Now 5 Bulletins on this issue there is literately no way they can pin a leveling kit for a cause. I would find someone at a dealership that you may know and talk to for advice they might recommend removal tho. Unfortunately until someone is killed or seriously hurt GM wont do anything but make excuses for this. I have sent 3 lemon law letters been through 20 reps and GM dont care. Everyone with a truck that has these issues should be blowing GM's phones up and put the pressure on them.
  11. I have a 16 Denali that has been in the shop a total of 3 weeks and 6 visits. 64K nightmare. For everyone who is having the steering issues GM has once again released a New TSB. This is the 5TH TSB for the 16 2500s now at letter D in relation to the steering issues. the PITMAN arm is now being replaced with a completely redesigned one. GM has released a new part number and my dealership had to order it from Detroit. Wont arrive till end of next week. I have had issues with my truck since Day one and of course GM does everything in there power to avoid the truth and take responsibility for there failure. Dealership even is saying gm is having issues. I ordered a Brand new 17 but am starting to question if there going to make things right. I have spoken with GM over and over for the last 5 months and there just now only going to offer a potential trade assist. No buyback or replace with the 17 i ordered pretty sad if you ask me. was denied auto loan repayment even tho truck has been out of service for a month total. Active BBB case and MD lemon law against GM and they still wont act. I have had sloppy Steering since purchase took truck back 2 days after i got it and was told it will break in that they see nothing wrong. At 4000 miles all hell broke loose 4x4 would not return to 4x2 Developed 3-4 inches of slacky steering. Wheel went severely off center vehicle would go straight at 7-1 could take left turn at center. Noises in front left of the truck. Noise when going left to right at park (grinding and bang) Dealership noted GM did not seat the front left shaft into the hub right and said it was barely even seated at all yet the nut was tightened. They re seated and 4X4 works now. Steering issue has been failed and failed over and over... Dealership had truck on alignment rack 8+ times in 6 hours. Dealership performed over center adjustment on gearbox noticed the lash adjuster was loose and leaking re seated and adjusted . Truck drove okay for 2 days then back to 3-4 inches of slop. Dealership called GM and requested Gearbox be ordered. Gearbox arrived and installed Truck now Pulls the other direction at highway speed. Have to hold wheel with 2 hands and try not to look like a DUI as it sways back and forth. 10-25-16 Advised and left vehicle at GMC dealership once again. Took video documentation of the truck Thursday(Thanksgiving) and showed management and they parked it and gave me a loaner. Advised me a new TSB has been released once again and now they want the pitman arm discarded and replaced with new design. old design is being trashed. GM dealership acknowledges issues and now has 5 other trucks with issues like mine. For those going through this Do not give up and put the heat on GM. No reason we as new truck owners who spend a ton of money for a truck to be safe and right should settle for less. Imagine towing a 5th wheel and having 3-4 inches of slop in the wheel its not fun.
