  1. The support I got was that GM customer service would reach out to the dealer to arrange for them to call me and get this thing fixed......Never got a call from the dealer and my truck still drives like S***. So there is the example of support that GM has for their customers.
  2. Dealer called back, Hey good news we re aligned it since its under warranty. why did it need another alignment I asked? could be from going offroading or pot holes, speed bumps he says....so I say guess I will be back every week. Feeling from steering wheel is normal....during a turn. Really so super easy then all of a sudden it tightens up??? wow! Booster pump is operational and the noise is what it is. WTF...so for all you that can hear pump noises in your 60K+ truck....that's normal. I have had this truck 6 months and I'm done with it. To hell with GM.
  3. I dropped off the truck for the second time related to this issue. appx 4000 miles after the first correction the alignment is off and still a very inconsistant in the feel of the steering wheel. The pump noise has increased to very audiable in the vehicle now as well. The tech that went with a ride along today stated that the box was replaced in my truck but the paperwork did not state any thing replaced. Im starting to get a very uncomfortable feeling with the way the dealer and GM are handling this. The worst part is that I have no vehicle bucause the dealer did not have a loaner to lend me....and this is my problem??? I called GM to ask why and they simply stated the dealer has to file additional paperwork......unbelievable!!! Lets see if they can get this fixed right this time. Has anyone delt with GM in regards to this and recieved any kind of extended warranty or anything?
  4. Its the booster pump according to some other info shared on this thread, mine had no such noise until about 5000 miles. Now at idle it sounds like a bearing thats about to seize....this is getting rediculous. Nice job GM....the government should have let you burn.
  5. I need to get mine back in to the dealer again. Steering wheel went from being centered to off to the right by 10 degrees or so just to go straight. Feeling still changes as you turn still... Have any of you been contacted on here from a GM rep? I have and thought they might help with the situation at hand but only receive more run around claiming that they have reached out to the servicing dealer and stated they will be calling me. Ya what a joke, this whole purchase, I wish I would have financed it so I could just stop paying for it but I own this pos. I bought this truck to work and find it quite hard to do so when I'm having issues with it.
  6. Well im not sure what to think of the fix they performed on my truck. They had it for 5 days, got it back and the feeling of the wheel is terrible. They delayed the delivery of my truck which caused us to miss a day of our vacation but have yet to get back to the dealer. The feeling of the wheel is like a slinky that wants to work sometime and others it feels like its going to let go and off I go over a cliff. The steering wheel has become way off center now too...about 1k miles since the shop visit. I pull a trailer for work and this is the most uncomfortable feeling I have ever experienced driving a truck....time will tell i guess.
  7. Got mine back from the dealer, slop is gone but the steering wheel feeling changes with every turn. It now feels worse because there is no consistency with the feeling of the wheel....hard to explain but this is the worst driving truck I have ever owned at this point. What really frustrates me is the service guys make it seem like your bothering them with these issues. I just want my 60k truck to work like it did when I bought it.
  8. Sad to see all these issues with brand new trucks. REALLY sad that this is my first post on the most expensive truck i have ever owned too. The steering on my 3500 went south at 8K miles. I was towing a 24ft box trailer at about 9K lbs and really had a hard time holding a lane when passing or getting passed. I thought I had the trailer loaded wrong but checked tongue weight and was sitting perfectly. When I got home I in hooked and went for a drive and knew we had a problem. Its at the dealer now, I'm with a loaner and its taking longer than expected. My travel plans with family have been affected as well. The sad part is I have owned many gm trucks, all with issues. I just came from a Tundra crew max with no issues at all...none. I towed the same trailer I am now and it never skipped a beat.....could not mis a gas station though. I enjoyed the Toyota forums with mods etc.....GM forums are full of issues. Hope to have my truck back soon.
