  1. I have been looking into this a lot because I want to do an exhaust/DEF/DPF delete and the same block off plates for snappier performance/better fuel mileage. As far as I have found you will need a programmer with the EGR delete because of the temperature and pressure sensors. I'm no expert but all sources say a programmer is required for most crucial changes to the duramax engine. I would check the duramax forum like previously stated since you only want to do EGR delete and not a full exhaust delete.
  2. To me it sounds like a brake pad or wheel bearing... but maybe its just the speakers im listenning on
  3. I have 9.5 wide and 0 offset running 12.5 wide rubber. They stick out about 1.5" in the rear and just over an inch in the front
  4. I ordered a set of black spline drive off amazon https://www.amazon.com/CECO-Duplex-Spline-Installation-Thread/dp/B00WFC2EDM/ref=sr_1_5?ie=UTF8&qid=1488059860&sr=8-5&keywords=black+duplex+spline+drive I had these on my last truck too, no problems
  5. I went with the 3" because I still wanted to fit in garage, I have a 7' door and i still have about 2" to spare. thats also on 35's
  6. I just got back from a weekend of sledding in the rockies, they were magnificent in the snow! and had to drive through a snowstorm on the way there, the tires were great, look great and arent loud, slight audible hum.
  7. Thanks! The ride is no different than the factory offroad Rancho suspension, They are not cranked all the way up, but I still have 3" of lift. The only difference I feel is the stiffer 12 ply tire and shorter sidewall.
