  1. I was surprised at the difference a fully corrected/polished black truck looks. It also had a ceramic coating put on. That said, I would probably end up doing the job myself next time because I actually enjoy that type of work. I ended up paying my detailer $1600 and he spent about 2 days working on my truck. Also, think of ceramic coating as a long-term wax/hydrophobic wax coating and not much else. It’s not going to magically prevent swirl marks or scratches especially on black paint. What it will do is make washing your truck a hell of a lot easier.
  2. I use the NOCO G3500. I hardwired the passenger side battery to an SAE plug and drilled out the passenger wheel liner for the plug. OptiMATE Cable O-40, Weatherproof... https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01N57XLNS?ref=ppx_pop_mob_ap_share I never cared for NOCO’s proprietary plug so I just snipped them off and replaced them with SAE as well. The only thing I have to remember is to unplug it before I drive off. I’ll probably put a little flag on my steering wheel or something similar.
  3. The best way is to drop the tank and drain it from the fill tube. If it’s anything similar to the LML, you’ll need to remove the shield, unbolt the straps and drop the tank. From there you disconnect all the electrical connectors and hoses. Stuff something like a stick to hold the flapper valve open and you should be able to drain it from the fill hole.
