  1. i got a 2018 5.3 rental with 5 miles on it. does the same thing. I think we just need to accept this.
  2. So i noticed something very odd. When going around a bend and giving it throttle i noticed the tick gets very quiet compared to going straight. Anyone else experience this?
  3. I've been dealing with this since i bought mine in 2015. i have a BB tune with AFM delete. My tick sounds just like the recording previously posted. Here's what I've noticed. Tick happens when pushing accelerator only. Tick doesn't occur when vehicle isn't at operating temp. Higher the RPM the faster the tick. Having high RPMs when downshifting doesn't produce the tick. Only pushing the accelerator to get high RPMs does. Active grade braking kicked in and the tick is present. Anyone else?
  4. Mine only makes the noise when the truck is at operating temperature. The higher the RPM the louder and faster the tick.
  5. very easy to do. just use the idea from above so you don't get anything in the fan housing.
  6. just wanted to update this thread. It was difficult, but i able to get the debris out. There were two leaves down in there. With some persuasion i fit half my hand in there and used my fingers to grab the leaves.
  7. So I replaced my cabin air filter yesterday. The filter was moderately dirty. After replacing this i get a humming sound when the HVAC blower is on high. At lower speeds there is no sound. After doing some research it seems this is common and something must have fell down when removing the old filter. Does anyone have insight on how to get the debris out of there? thank you!
  8. Once a discount hits i plan on purchasing the autocal from them. I've only heard great things from everyone!
  9. same here. very minor drip or wetness. second time this has happened.
  10. I had this issue, but not to this degree. The bracket was dripping onto my hand while driving. Very concerning, but it has only happened once. When this happened i haven't drove for a couple days, The weather was rain/snow and I also park on a downward grade, so im sure that didn't help.
