  1. So whenever I bought my truck the 110 outlet never worked. Finally after 2 yrs, I watched a YouTube video on how to replace the fuse for it. I went into both panels on the driver and passenger side. I put everything back together and when I go to plug in my phone... no green light. Just a click. The click has never happened before. Guess I’m getting somewhere with it. Any help is much appreciated.
  2. They didn't detect anything in the diagnostics. Just that I need new break pads. So now there's probably $1,300 I have to spend on the compressor and new pads.
  3. They've never detected anything wrong with mine or been able to renact it.
  4. Yeah the problem that I have is that my dealership didn't find any problems. I guess they can look at it again this Monday when I have to get my ac fixed since it went out TODAY!!!
  5. I didn't ever found out the real problem with mine. The problem has been gone for a month or two but I have had 2 minor occurances in the last week.(no shutdown just the messages)
  6. Stanley, is GM/Chevy going to help with the damages in any way?
  7. Yes I saw that video too. That's exactly what the steering wheel used to do. It would jerk back like the one in the video did and we even showed the video to the service tech when we were dropping it off.
  8. Yeah I'm sure all our cars are or had the same problem with the steering. I just can't believe that mine was suggested as a traction control error because it happened in the same spot. It hasn't happened again so we'll see. If it happens again I'll be looking at the 2016 silverados.
  9. My Silverado has not had the problem since I brought it to the dealership (in Baton Rouge). The autozone story is interesting. I'll bring it by soon. I don't think I'd ever leave chevy/GMC because I've never had any problems with them besides this and my Silverado has been pretty solid. I also don't like the new f150s anyway.
  10. Thanks Dayton I totally agree. My dad and I thought it was BS too but we just let it go. When I started to describe the problem to them their eyes light up and said they've never heard of it before. The reason why they said it's traction control is because the diagnostics found nothing wrong with the truck and that " its running as designed"
  11. Pretty much. They said your really only supposed to have it on in the rain or snow.
  12. They fixed all recal items and told me the problem was that a wheel was slipping on the turn causing traction control to stop the truck or something. So they told me to turn traction control off...
