Just bought a 2016 hd2500 4x4 with 14 miles!
around 200 miles Iv noticed a clunk noise from the cab back when the truck flexes on a slope or even just backing up on a small incline
and even if you swing the steering wheel back and forth around 23/30 mph!
I know its not the spare tire! nor the hitch! It almost sounds like a broken motor mount/body or shock! sound!
My local dealership said it was because I put 18" rims on it and it came with 17" rims! in which i did! stock rims off of the same year truck but a Denali 3500, because my truck came with the ugly steel rims and Firestone tires! the Denali had aluminium rims with Michelin tires' far better!
the dealer stated they were not compatible and the noise was going from the rear passenger side! well if that's true? wouldn't all the tires make the noise!!!!!
Well knowing a little bit about things! I'm thinking there full of sh#t! and contacted the neighboring county Chevy dealer' and stated what my local dealer said! there response was that my local dealership has no clue what they are talking about and they will gladly take a deeper look!
Any one else have cure?
