  1. Yes - 15,000 miles and 2 years on the FlowMaster 50 Big Block #53553 and loving it......... Flapper removed......... Drive in manual mode 7th gear when not on the highway.......... For more details click on the link in my sig.........
  2. Run my 2017 thru 2 summers now and into 2 winters. Not missing any additional tint. I suppose if you live in the south, would be more needed. Up here in the Seattle area, the weather is pretty dark and gloomy during the winter on it's own............
  3. You seem like you might know. Just trying to confirm the acdelco oil 0W/20 part #for our ‘17 6.2ls.

I have just been letting the dealer do my free oil changes for life...........

      Ah-ha, I see.

hiw about all of your truck tow numbers. Have you figured all of them out? This is what I came up with, but still not sure all are correct (truck weight and payload max for example) and still need to figure some others out.

      Truck curb weight 5547lbs ???

      - Max payload 2030lbs

(However, Passenger/cargo not to exceed 1869lbs, because this lower number

factors in 26 gallons of fuel

      at 6.3lbs per gallon)

      - Max GVWR 7600lbs ???

      - Max conventional trailering (3.42 rear axle ratio) - 11,700lbs

      - GCWR (3.42 rear axle ratio) 17,700lbs

      - Rear gross axle weight rating - 4300lbs

-Front gross axle weight rating - 3950lbs

      ????

      GCWR

      RGAWR

      GVW

      RGAW

  4. Nope - Right back to low level clunking - even down shifting to 1st sometimes feel it. Seems to be the new norm with GM......... As my salesman says...... "They all do it"..................
  5. Drivers side armrest was making popping noise with normal elbow or finger pressure. So while she was in for 1-2 shift tranny clunk and service, added that to the list. They replaced the whole door panel since "Armrest is not serviced separately". See how this one is in another 12,000 miles........... These armrests are softer than my 2007 was and I like that - but whatever is inside seems to crush in normal use.
  6. I always update my trailers to cable chains - the cat's meow for several reasons - never drag - quick to connect and disconnect........... Excellent source for towing and carrying related stuff: https://www.etrailer.com/s.aspx?qry=cable+chains&furl=-pg-Safety_Chains_and_Cables
  7. Another example showing little tongue weight vs too much tongue weight with no weight distributing hitch........
  8. Most def you want the weight distributing hitch when you get a real trailer with tongue weight behind it. As for the little tongue weight trailer - I towed a car on a trailer loaded with little tongue weight and could not go over 50mph without the trailer swaying - thank goodness for the dash lever to actuate trailer brakes. Modified the trailer to get the load further forward. Return trip the sky was the limit - towed great at any speed with more tongue weight.
  9. Certainly no clunking - been sticking to no unnecessary M mode - but only a few days driving since fixed. With the louder muffler it helps to hear the shifts by RPM change. You want to talk butter - our 2015 and now 2018 Subaru Outback sure shift seamlessly - U never know when they shift..........
  10. Bet it is the 303 - tried a bottle of it and was not impressed. I use Meguiar's #40 once every 3 months if that - there is such a thing as over maintaining.
  11. Cut the flapper out with the muffler - see link below.......
  12. Flapper delete alone will just give you more V-4 noise - but only to the finely tuned ear.........
