  1. I used PlastiDip on my 2016 Silverado for the wheels and Bowtie emblems. After 3 1/2 years the wheels needed a little touch up here and there, but the emblems still looked great when I traded it in last fall.
  2. The 18" Trail Boss wheels fit on a RST at stock height with no issues. Speedo runs about 2mph fast.
  3. Swapped the RST rims for the Trail Boss rims. I have a 2" Lift, Borla S-type exhaust and S&B intake all on order.
  4. I had the S-type on my 2016 5.3 and fully intend on doing the same with the 2021. Check out the Borla video that does the comparison of stock vs touring vs S-type. Do not listen on your phone, use something with a good sound system. The system in your truck will be fine and turn it up.
  5. I did this on my 2016 and was very happy with the outcome. I applied 3 coats of color and 1 clear coat for a semi-gloss look. It's been 4 years since doing them and I will say I used a pressure washer and many trips through the car wash during the winter months. By year 3 I had to do a few spot repairs and now I will need to redo them completely in the spring. I will most likely add at least one more coat of color this time to hopefully increase durability.
  6. Need a third option... I manually downshift just to hear the exhaust cackle.
  7. Absolutely and I had hose left over.
  8. I am very happy with the E2-X on my 2016. I made use of all the factory quick connectors to the manifold. I did need to search for an adapter to get the CSS to connect to the intake tube (CAI specific). I find this mounting point easy to get a bottle or cup under the drain valve and I never get more than a few ounces maybe 6 at the most out of it.
  9. I have 35% on the front doors, a 5% strip across the windsheild and the rear is all stock.
