  1. Install was fairly straight forward. The hardest part was cutting the holes in the mirrors caps so the GMC was straight with the truck. I figured I better get them straight... Wiring was simple as I just added a jumper with a plug off of the rear facing cargo lights. I did have to trim a little plastic on the body of the mirror on both sides. Once the mirror cap is put back on it can’t be seen.
  2. Here’s a few pics of my GMC puddle lamp install from the weekend.
  3. Has anyone attempted to install these puddle lights on the tow mirrors without the puddle lamps from factory? (2015-2019 2500/3500) It looks like it would be fairly simple to do & I believe that there is lots of room inside the mirror cap.
  4. Ok. Looks like I will wait awhile longer. Thanks for the great review!
  5. Hello, I’m looking at changing out my factory screen with the 12” T style radio. Just wondering how many guys are running these & what there thoughts are. Pros & cons? How is the fit & finish? Thanks.
  6. Mine gave me the same code yesterday. I took it into the dealer today & they put it on there scanner to confirm code. Now I am getting a message saying that I have 160 km till the 105km/hr max speed. Took it back to the dealer & was told that they cannot clear the code cause the truck needs to go into regen mode to clear & they cannot do a force regen because they need tank heater for it to happen. So now I got 160 km till Speed is reduced & they figured another 200 km at reduced speed then truck will only idle. No def tanks around so it will be over 3 weeks before they get one. Anyone else ever have this happen? Seems weird to me that GM never thought this through & had a fix in this kind of situation. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  7. Reaction time is instant. Connect via a cable. Screen mirror is controlled from the phone. Not sure about the android auto. I run apple so it comes with apple lightning connector which is around $65 can to buy. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  8. Correct. You cannot communicate from screen to the phone. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  9. Install is all plug & play. The hardest part would be getting the trim off around the screen. I loved it. I had a front camera hooked to it & it worked flawless. My kids would watch Netflix & you tube on it when truck was parked. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  10. Nav tool phone interface for GM trucks. Mirror anything off your smart phone onto factory screen. Has additional ports for right, left, rear & front cameras. Front camera comes on in drive & shuts off when vehicle is going 10 km/hr. Can Use google maps from iPhone & display onto factory screen. $250 Can. Will ship. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
