The key is making sure you have traffic in front of you (rabbit) Once a LEO hit someone with Radar 1 mile plus down the road, the V1 will alert and thus you slow down. If you are the only one on the interstate and you are driving 20 plus over in the fast lane, then yes the LEO will get you etc... You have to be smart about it etc...

It's very hard to use an old one if it doesn't have the updates. The new ones are quiet compared to what you have. When you get near a car that has the lane departure and object in mirror detection warnings etc... it's going to go nuts.

You can probably sell your old one on eBay and get more for it etc... For some reason they tend to sell well on eBay.

They basically send you out a brand new one at a reduced price.

Go to the Valentine website and punch in your serial number and they will tell you what upgrades would cost so you could have bluetooth etc. These new cars these days run a lot of radar and the new V1 will block a lot of that noise along with traffic sign radar etc...

Valentine 1 is great but can be a bit chatty. They can be calmed down with apps that are currently out.

Seems to be a very good product but very expensive.

Having a quiet radar detector is wonderful however yes the 360 will also lockout police radar. And they are very slow at picking up quick trigger and instant on etc...

Not sure I can help you with the size, but I can help you with information about it's performance. Are you aware that Escorts will lock out real police radar along with false alarms?
