Steering wheel play after...
Keithm replied to Keithm's topic in 2015-2019 Silverado & Sierra HD Troubleshooting
He had already removed everything by the time we noticed the culprit. Already had a new unit of the bench ready to go in so he just swapped it out. Honestly I couldn’t give you a 100% sure answer to your question but my uneducated guess would be yes. -

2016 Midnight HD. Had the dealership change oil, tire rotation. Took the truck on the highway shortly after and the steering has almost 2”s of play now. No vibration as if the tires are out of balance. Only time the truck feels safe is when I’m going around a bend on the highway. It doesn’t track or pull in either direction. The truck is near impossible to keep straight though. This issue was DEFINITELY not there before they took it in. Been buying trucks from this place for years and I really don’t think they did anything shady. I know I should re-rotate to see if it goes away then go from there but anyone have any thoughts 21k on the truck does have rough country 3.5” front 1.something” rear

My head is spinning after reading about 30 pages of this thread. Ive been looking to upgrade to tow mirrors from my current non signaled/non power fold, but heated/power glass mirrors on my ‘16 Chevy 2500 LT 6.0 gasser(midnight hd if that matters) for some time now. Since I started researching a yr ago, Oem harness #’s have changed. Truck side I do have all the correct pins for the applications I’d like including puddle lamp, turn signal, power glass, amber running lights. After seeing the 1A auto issue, I’d rather stick with GM mirrors. I’d gladly purchase from you Phill if I need a certain custom harness? Any and all input is appreciated guys, thanks guys

Those with the RC 3.5" No Cut "Lift" Kit

Sorry I didn't reply to you in my thread. Am I the only one who feels like my truck was shorter than other 2500's before this kit? And now that it's installed I feel about the same height as other 2500's? -

I haven't tried to fit in my garage yet but I'd about bet my life it won't fit. My '14 1500 with this same lift and 33's just BARELY fit. Had maybe an inch or two clearance. As for ride quality, it's pretty plush. Not much of a difference from stock. It's no drastic height change though so I wish I went bigger. -

Desperately need tow mirrors. Can't believe they even make 2500's with dl3's. -
Installed my access vanish last wk. Not really impressed for several reasons. I've only rolled it up twice so far. The black stitching is already turning white so it looks aged. Installation of the clamps kind of stunk, rolled it up today and one had already fallen off. When mounted flush to the bed rails I can barely get my fingers under the sides to pull it snug sideways. When rolled up the latching system seems cheesy. My last Access just seemed to be better quality than this one.
