It is a 2015 GMC sierra crewcab z71. 5.8 box. 2.25 inch levelling kit. Timbren bump stops which actually help keep truck level when loaded so lights don't blind on coming traffic.

One thing I did notice the gm dealer knows more about the headlight issue then the chev dealer ship. When I first found out about the upgrade, I took it to chev dealer and they looked at everything and said it already has upgrade and to prove it said it was built after such and such a date. Out of desperation I took it to gm dealer and he said upgrade had never been done, and to be honest it was a big difference. I have to grudgingly admit that. I know it is not the real solutions, but I can get by. Now I have to wonder where some of the people take their trucks to get serviced. Sure the dealer might say upgrade is done, but best way to know for sure is pull the bubs and check voltage.

I think they definitely put in the wrong bulbs! Now I wonder when they update the bcm,what voltages do they upgrade to? Thanks.

Could someone tell me if this is the updated bulb? I just checked my headlight bulb and this is what dealer put in. I specifically told the dealer to put in updated bulbs and now I wonder if they did! Thank you.

I had hid kit and ever so often one bulb wouldn't light up. If you turned ignition of and on ,it would be good again. Finally got fed up and went back to upgraded stock lights ,and put LEDs in the fogs. So for me running the fogs while headlights are on is not to bad. Bright's are useless. I don't drive on the milky way.

I guess the extra cost of hardware and labour versus just plug and play will be the deciding factor.

Hi I have 2015 gmc sle crewcab with 5.3. Was wondering if i could upgrade to towing mirrors without changing any harnesses.Truck has dl8 option.I have a chance to buy towing mirrors of a chevy ltz.As long as heated and power would work,that is fine by me. Thank You.
