GM Cold Air Intake w/ Catch Can
Silveradoh replied to Silveradoh's topic in 2014-2018 Silverado & Sierra Mods
Only had it installed a few days and haven’t driven much, but felt good when I got on it to test it the other day. Not super loud, but feels like it has a little more pick up. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk -
Hey guys, Anyone have the GM cold air intake with a catch can setup? Just wanna make sure I have everything connected properly. If you’ve done it, send me a PM or post a photo on this thread. I just have a couple questions. Thanks, Bob Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

K&N Cold Air intake, had it on my truck (2017 Silverado) for 30k miles/3 years and it sounds awesome and gives a little better throttle response and power. Just cleaned and oiled it, so it’s ready to install. See last picture for part number and vehicles it will work on. Only part missing is one of the 5/8 fuel lines that I cut for a catch can install. I’ve highlighted it on the installation instructions, the fuel line can be purchased at any automotive store for ~$5. Asking $200 shipped, $175 local pickup in Oldsmar, FL. Let me know if you have any questions or want more pics of anything. Thanks, Bob Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Got a hitchsafe to hide my keys while I’m surfing. Seems really solid, can’t tell it’s there with the dust cover and can remove in 30 seconds to attach a trailer. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk -

I don’t have any more personal pics, but gulfster.com has a bunch of pics from all over FL gulf coast of that swell. This was taken at honeymoon island, we had some fun waist-chest high peelers. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk -

Leveling kit and steering rack problems
Silveradoh replied to danb303's topic in 2014-2018 Silverado & Sierra Mods
That sounds right, I looked at my service receipt and they didn’t put what they did on there. As far as the 5100s go, Amazon had a pretty decent price when I looked before, and I know there’s a few companies that give deals to the forum members, so I might try searching the forums as well. The temperature part is interesting, I live in FL, so it’s pretty much always warm, no break in the click for me. Thank you for correcting me on the 5100s, I’ve been driving with the issue for probably 15-20k miles and no major issues either, so you’re probably right to just live with it. Maybe try leveling with bilstein 5100s instead of a spacer? Not sure if that would help, but worst case you could put them back to the lowest setting and get a little better ride than stock. I had a pretty bad click on mine as well (2” RC level), had the dealership look into it and they greased something, can’t remember what, I’ll look later and edit this. It helped a lot, I did notice a little click every once in a while, but it’s vastly improved. Hope this helps a bit. Bob Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk -

Title pretty much explains it, looking to buy a bakbox for a 2017 Silverado crew cab short bed. Already have a bakflip g2, so just looking to add a bakbox. I’m looking for used, but if you’re a dealer and have a good deal on a new one, I may be interested as well. Located in Tampa, FL. Thanks, Bob Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

I’ve had them for about a year and a half and they’re awesome. Really good quality and look great. Definitely recommend them. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
