  1. Both mine came in and I installed them. I had to unscrew the 4th bolt on the mirror, my slt mirrors only used 3, no big deal. Only thing that doesn't work on my 2014 is the amber lights when truck is running and the reverse or cargo lights on the mirror. I know I can get boost auto kits to make them work but I'm not going to. Amber mirror lights do come on at night when I unlock or remote start but go off when the key is in the ignition. Everything else works fine. Sent from my SM-N960U using Tapatalk
  2. I just bought 2 with that issue, I used drylube wd40 and sprayed tge motor and it's working now, not sure how long it will last. When you fold them make sure the truck is running, in key on mode they don't fold. Not sure if they don't get enough voltage? Sent from my SM-N960U using Tapatalk
  3. They should just bolt on and plug in, if you already have the power folding mirrors. Thus is what I'm doing, once the driver side comes in the mail. Sent from my SM-N960U using Tapatalk
  4. It's too late for a before at this point haha [emoji2369] but I have couple apps, I'll try it out Sent from my SM-N960U using Tapatalk
  5. Nahh, for a 1/4 inch difference not worth it. I'm just posting this here to give another option for those who just delete muffler or chop stock setup to make something worth. This is cheaper but great quality for what it is. One could spend double the price for a Gibson or 5x more for Birla [emoji2369] Sent from my SM-N960U using Tapatalk
  6. Pretty sure MVP is in the US unless you can prove me wrong? It's working great and improved throttle response but you don't have to go this route [emoji2369] Sent from my SM-N960U using Tapatalk
  7. The good thing about this setup is that you can swap mufflers being that it's a clamp on. You just have to use an offset inlet/center outlet muffler Sent from my SM-N960U using Tapatalk
  8. Change your battery if it's the original one. Mine lasted 3yr. Check your body to engine grounds. I added another ground from neg battery to the firewall. Sent from my SM-N960U using Tapatalk
  9. Here is my video of the new exhaust system I put together. MVP 3" pipe kit for the 2014-2019 sierra/silverado + 3" Flowmaster flowfx muffler + 3" band clamps It's all 3" 409SS from cat to the tip. Sounds great, no drone (I'm v8 only) when cruising, great roar when you get on it. Been a month and it's gotten louder and sounds nice and deep. https://ebay.com/usr/worldwideperformance Sent from my SM-N960U using Tapatalk
  10. AirAid tube with the stock air box and K&N filter inside is working great for me. Gives a nice growl on acceleration. Run a quality catch can setup since your truck is still new-ish
  11. if this will be your 3rd time, that can fall under the lemon law (same problem 3 times) so look into that. You may be able to get GM to buy that truck back.
  12. Dont get caught up in the "Best Oil" race. Use whatever 0w-20 you can get on sale. Heck, i even mixed different brands of same weight before. Rotella is my current brand, loaded up on the last sale. Change it before 7500 or 25% and you'll be good. Just remember to use the best filter, for me its usually Mobil 1 extended performance. They go on sale sometimes.
  13. impressive, my trans went at 120k. Got it rebuild elsewhere. Im still pretty confident that getting the trans flushed at 98k at the dealer eventually caused this. Do not flush people, drop and drain only. Im at 135k now on 2014 SLE
  14. OP - First think you need to know is: Are you keeping cylinder deactivation or not? If you are keeping it then be ready for the helicopter chop if you go with a system that eliminates the valve. If you will turn it off and never go back then any catback will work, no chopper noise.
  15. Look into new take offs from an AT4 GoodYear Wrangler Trail Runner AT in 33" size (275/60/20) Most of the AT4 guys will upgrade to a more aggressive tire so you can find great deals on local forsale sites. I got a set with 600 miles on them for $400. Great looking tire as well, i havent put them on yet, not till this late fall.
