  1. Update: Could not take the squeaking any longer, took the truck back with about 6500 miles. Complained about the brakes making noise and they said that they would take another look, one week later called and said all was fixed. Went and pick up my truck and right out of the gate it squeaked again, when I got home I looked at the ticket and they did the same thing as last time. When I got up the next morning after thinking about all night I was steaming. Drove right to the dealer and spoke with the service adviser, he said we could never make it make that noise, I said hop in in we are going for a ride, he got the service manager and the manager and I went for a drive, right off the bat it started squeaking with light pressure on the brakes. The service manager said sounds like it is coming from the rear, my thought was it was coming from the driver rear, when we got back to the dealership, he told the tech, to put new pads on the rear they have to replace both pads and they resurface the rotors what that that means. Morrow to the story NO MORE SQUEAKING BRAKES!!
  2. I received two fobs and two keys, had an extra key made at dealer for free. I would like to have a key that will just unlock the door and put in a magnetic box on the truck, and put the third extra key in the truck to start. I hunt a lot and I always feel better so long as I can get in the truck. Any suggestions.
  3. Yea that what mine light application on brakes, once you go for the full stop they quit.
  4. sorry about the triple post, dang computers, the brakes are working properly in my mine that was the main reason for taking it in. I agree when I take it in for first oil change or for another need I will mention the squeaking.
  5. Well it has been wet around here, the brakes still should not squeak and you thing that after use the rust would wear off.

  7. Less than 1,000 miles brakes started squeaking while applying light pressure before stopping. Thought might have been a burr on the roter or pad, gave it some, still squeaking now enough that if tic me off. Took it to the dealer, gave me a loaner and had it for four days. Finally made a phone call and the adviser said that I must have drove through something that made them squeak. Anyway he said that they are not squeaking any longer either cold or hot. Picked truck up last nite and today squeaking again. Should I take it back or give it some time to see if it fixes itself?
  8. Those are good numbers, I'm hopeful after a few more miles mine will get that good.
  9. This is what mine in doing (2017 2500HD 6.0) Driven a total of 663 miles: Last 25 shows 13.7 average, 17.3 best, Last 50 miles 14.2 average, 16.7 best, Last 400 miles 13.8 average, 14.9 best. Today's trip of 211.7 miles showed 14.9 mpg. Of that total of 663 miles 379 were basically highway. This is burning 87 regular, that is the cheapest we have in Tulsa (2.07 per gal.) Overall these numbers are pleasing as they are about the same as my 07 2500HD 6.0 with 3:73 axle. All driving about 70 or about 2000 rpm. Real happy with the truck, more room in the cab, rides good, technology is much better.
