  1. I’ll ask tomorrow when I take it in for the second engine light.
  2. Hello, This is more a report on how what and were thread than asking for help thread. Kinda out to see if others are seeing these issues. 2017 Sierra 4X4 5.3L engine. Eng light #1. Mileage 17532 16 June 2018 Location: Phoenix AZ Outside Temp 80 degrees F First start of the day Light came on. Dealer replaced #2 fuel injector Dealer said they have had a rash of injectors going bad in allot of vehicles. So many in fact that GM can't keep up with demand and wait for parts are 4 days. I waited 4 days to get mine and once they had the part it worked fine till today. Eng light #2. Mileage 17675 30 June 2018 Location: Phoenix AZ Outside Temp 87 degrees F First start of the day Light came on. This time I had started the truck with the remote. It shut it's self off after about 15 seconds. I have an appointment with the Dealer Monday. Oh and for the record, this is the first vehicle I have ever owned that had a Check engine light come on. I have owned probably 20ish cars or trucks in my 52 years. Just found that to be interesting that I have gone this long before seeing one.
  3. On my truck the forward stakebed holes are covered. Is that a cap or does it need to be cut out to use the stake slot? I'm thinking that needs to be cutout.
  4. Yep, thanks, I went to find all the RPO codes online but all the sites I found had out of date codes that didnt apply to most of the codes on my truck.
  5. So none of the transmissions in these trucks are any good?
  6. thanks folks, looks like I actually have a 8 speed and 3.42. GU6 & M5U
  7. When I bought my truck the dealer lost the window sticker and told me it was a 6 speed with 3.43 ratio. I want to be sure. Anyone know the RPO codes for which Transmission and gear ratios? FWIW the replacment sticker is on the way to me from the dealer so I'll know for sure but was just wondering.
  8. When you go up, you should go wider. The rim width should be increased, increasing the contact patch of your tires. Spacers are a poor replacement as you don't increase the contact patch with narrow tires. Not sure what size rim you have but your you put a fat tire on a narrow rim it will look like a balloon pulling the sidewalls in to much.
