  1. Yup, will update shortly with some pics. For interests sake using the old harnesses would have worked. The mirrors would have been plug and play except ONE feature didn't transfer. The reverse LED spot lights. I debated not bothering to do, but then figured the harnesses were the cheapest part of the order that I might as well do it. It was also the 5 of the 6 hours haha. I think I've got the mirrors sold this weekend. Just need to sell the old harnesses. pgamboa you interested in a buying set of wires to tinker with? I don't mind shipping them to you.
  2. Lol, thanks guys. But I got them already from gm parts depot, as per the most recent post. Cost $1750 CDN. Which is about $200 more than the $1029 quote when changed to CDN. Thanks though.
  3. Just to update everyone. I installed my tow mirrors. The exact parts provided by Black Denali Canada matched what I needed. Basically installed over the course of 5-6 hours. Hands got quite chopped up in the process. I'm either clumsy or have large hands (likely both), it wasn't easy, but not hard. Getting the wire harness in and out was the painful part. I ordered the parts from a gmparts depot. They ended up costing ~$1750 CDN for the towing powerfold, reverse light, signal light, memory mirror, etc. chrome versions. Now what to do with my wire harnesses and smaller mirrors? Anyone want to buy? I priced them out at a dealer and they cost $1,656,22 for all the parts and harnesses and online you'd have to pay $1140 approximately. Plus shipping. I'm thinking $750 CDN for all the parts would be fair.
  4. And I just got off the phone with a GM parts dealership who quoted $1870 for the mirrors, plus $350 for the harness, plus $400 for some kit and they AREN'T powerfold... What the heck? I'm truly confused haha.
  5. So I'm looking at the 1A Autoparts site as the other thread started by pgamboa seemed to indicate I could get the mirrors there. I found these: https://www.1aauto.com/mirror-pair/i/1amrp01796?f=1103292&y=2016 But the lady I spoke to said they wouldn't work because they were for the diesel. Do you think my truck would accept these and just have the PIN for the diesel but it doens't do anything? That would be nice as I don't want to go the $975*2 mirror price and $225*2 harness price. That's $2400..... frack
  6. So this looks exactly what I'm looking for. Ummmm... I just realized I'm in the 1500 forum, would this all be applicable to the 2500?
  7. Great thread - I just got a new/used 2016 Sierra All Terrain HD. Unfortunately it came with the small mirrors and I bought the truck for towing a 30' trailer. Looking at my Codes it appears I have the A45 and DL3 Combo. I also have memory seats, memory exit, the mirrors are power fold, they have the flood light too. Just looking for someone to confirm which mirrors I should be buying (Canadian) and that I don't have to drill holes to accommodate these? I do have power fold and have the truck bed lights (hopefully I have the mirror lights too as those things are awesome). I drove a '15 HD that had them once and loved having them. I think i'd prefer to keep chrome on them - but not a deal breaker. To repeat, I've got A45, DL3 and also AY0 (I saw someone above mention that one). The mirrors are currently power fold, power adjust, memory (memory seat) and my seat also does the easy exit memory. Not keen to drill holes in metal as I've never done something like that before. Thanks everyone!
