  1. 2017 6.2 Denali crew cab-23k miles. Tuned at 5k. -1 7/8 AR headers/hi-flow cats -GM Borla cat back -air raid full kit -tuned by Doug at ECS. I have the tune file and vcm suite to flash Sent from my SM-G955U1 using Tapatalk
  2. Haha... I don't blame you that's giving away trade secrets. I might have you do my tune I'm not so happy with the tune I have now. My 2017 6.2 drives great. I was hoping you might be able to help me with the trans tuning to try to help out the jolt I get when it trys to downshift to first when slowing down. Not all the time. I'm all ready to go TCM has been unlocked and I'm not too far from your shop. Sent from my SM-G955U1 using Tapatalk
  3. I bought em both to have around they are handy suckers but you and I both know I wont be able to find them the next time I need em.... Hehe. The are pricey I bought off Amazon. 3rd party seller I think. Sent from my SM-G955U1 using Tapatalk
  4. The blue ones. They almost fit the sub wires that are a little thicker guage. They will be perfect for the speaker wires. I bought both. Black posi tap- for sub wires off Bose amp w/ sub Blue posi tap - for speaker wires no sub Sent from my SM-G955U1 using Tapatalk
  5. Just to clarify it is trans issue it down shifts into 1st too soon and causes a bang. Make you check your rear view mirror to see if you have been rear ended. Sent from my SM-G955U1 using Tapatalk
  6. 22k mile and mine does it 60% of the time when coming to a slow stop. So much so that I'm ready for it. My truck is a 2017 Denali ultimate 8 speed trans. 65k msrp Sent from my SM-G955U1 using Tapatalk
  7. 20ft did it for me and I suggest leaving your self a few more feet. Sent from my SM-G955U1 using Tapatalk
  8. I installed the full kit on my 6.2. I also have a GM borla dual exit and AR longtubes headers. You probally get pretty close to the same performance and keep the stock box or look cool as hell with the cone filter. Sent from my SM-G955U1 using Tapatalk
  9. Shake came back not as bad though. I went back to the dealer they want $350 to replace both tires that is at 50% of the cost. I said no way my paiying thst and I drove one our away to the original dealer I bought the vehicle from and if they can't road force balance the tires it seems like they are gonna replace them. This sucks Sent from my SM-G955U1 using Tapatalk
  10. Wish I could say the same thing love everything about my truck except for this. I'm giving the dealer the chance to fix it. Hopefully we get to the bottom of it. Sent from my SM-G955U1 using Tapatalk
  11. Well 80mi later and the vibration is back I spoke too soon. I am still hopeful though that it is a tire problem since two wheels failed road force balancing and it did fix the issue for a short time. Back to the dealer Tuesday. I am going to press the issue of getting the two wheels replaced that could not be balanced. Uggggh. Sent from my SM-G955U1 using Tapatalk
  12. I should have went sooner the shake started at 5k miles I am at 16k now but that is what I am wondering will they replace or tell me it's a wear and tear item? But on the other hand if my brakes were vibrating and it was due to the an issue with pads I know I would tell them that the break pads should be good for 80k up to normal driving conditions and replace them and I am not paying. Is this going to keep happing every 5k miles the tires rounding and becoming unable to be balanced. Road Force balancing more often than oil changes and rotations? Makes me wonder if these trucks have a tendency to cause the tires to become out of round due some other issue.
  13. Well I have some good new but still confused. I took my 2017 Denali CC, OEM 22s with Bridgestone Duelers in for the vibration that has been plaguing me for the last 10k miles. I'm at 16k now. Here is what happened. Road force balancing pretty much solved my problem in my short test drive. But here is what has me scratching my head. "Road Forced balanced to the highest degree possible, 2 tires still failed" So if tires are not even able to be roadforce balanced shouldn't they need to be replaced? Should I just complain and say the truck still vibrates and push to get them replaced? The truck still does have a vey slight vibration but it is leaps and bounds better. 14. Think we need a sound clip. My air raid full kit defiantly made some more noise but it was more like a whooshing/low growl sound that was not too bad at all. After I installed gm borla cat back exhaust I can't even pick out the sound. I only have a touring exhaust so it is not that loud at all. I also have a 6.2. It made no noise unless I was around 2k RPM. Sent from my SM-G955U1 using Tapatalk
  15. That is not what I am experiencing. I put my truck in neutral while at 70-85mph, highway speed and the vibration is still present. Also absolutely not RPM fluctuations. I drove on a rumble strip to compare and my vibration is a lot less mabey 12-15hz (cycles per second). Occurs during accelerating, decelerating, and neutral from 70-90mph. "Some customers may comment on any of the following conditions A shake or shudder during light throttle acceleration, between 30 and 65 mph steady state driving. Excessive engine RPM fluctuation that may be described as frequent tachometer needle movement at constant speed when engine speed is below 1600 RPM. A shudder feeling that may be described as driving over rumble strips or rough pavement. It is important to note that these conditions: Do not occur during vehicle launch from a stop. Do not occur when the transmission is shifting gears. Do not occur when the vehicle is decelerating. Do not occur when TCC slip speed is zero. TCC slip speed is zero in gears 2-8 when engine RPM is greater than 1600 RPM." Sent from my SM-G955U1 using Tapatalk
